Maria’s Little Italy

Had a GREAT experience here. I enjoyed the atmosphere, decor, and soft music playing. After sitting, they brought bread, water, and a small plate with silverware to my table. The server then let me know the specials. Service was amazing and they made sure my water stayed full. I ordered one of the specials, as written on my receipt "chicken satim bocca" it came with a side salad. The salad was good. The meal was absolutely amazing. From the chicken, topings, and sauce to the noodles. It was SO delicious. Unfortunately for me it was way more food than I could eat in a serving. Then I ordered a canoli for dessert, that too was delicious! If I make it back to Dekalb I will definitely be here again!

Our first time here. Was expecting more per the reviews. The pizza crust was hard and tacky and it tasted dry from not enough sauce. The spinach salad was okay if not a bit short on portion size. Ditto for the appetizer. The food arrived about 30 minutes after we ordered for two people. After we got the food, the server never checked on us and we had to flag her down to get some refills on water. Overall we were kind of underwhelmed. Likely will not return.

Excellent! Maria was there and treating everyone like friends and family. I felt like my Italian Nonna was making sure I got enough to eat and drink. Her marinara was divine! I had eggplant Parmesan with ravioli and loved it. My husband had a special with Italian sausage and broccoli in a wine sauce and he really enjoyed it. This is a gem well worth your time!

This little restaurant is a gem. The house dressing is delicious. The bread was fresh and they have Real butter on the table. They don’t take your order at your table. You go up to the counter to order your food and they bring it to you. The service is good. They check back with you quite regularly. I’m sorry I didn’t get a photo of my fettuccine Alfredo before I started eating it. I got it with Italian sausage. I cannot say enough about how delicious the sausage was. It was crispy on the outside… tender and tasty on the inside. I plan to return!

We had Maria's Little Italy cater for my baby shower and the food was fantastic! I ordered by phone and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The recommendations we were given were well worth it! All of our guests were raving about the lasagna and the meatballs, and I absolutely loved the fettuccine alfredo. We will definetly be calling Maria's again if we need any catering in the future. Thank you for making this the easiest part of my baby shower planning!!!
