Aria Mediterranean Cuisine

My two favorite things here are the baklava and hummus. We've ordered from here at least 4 times. The last time I actually went to pick up my food. I was craving the baklava, but ended up ordering a lunch platter, hummus, and two pieces of baklava. I love the freshness of the food. The staff was very friendly. He remembered when I called to ask about the baklava. He even gave me a little discount. I love supporting mom and pop restaurants like this. Next time my family and I will have to dine in. It's in a nice location.

Highly recommend this place, very authentic and delicious food, placed a delivery order for chicken curry and three bean salad. I’m very satisfied with everything. Food arrived fast and was able to enjoy a hot tasty, fresh dish. This is my first time trying this place, looks like they got a new repeatable customer. Looking forward to trying thier other selections. I have high hopes. 👍.

There is nothing too exciting about this place. The atmosphere is pretty drab and not as clean as one would expect. I must say they are very nice people and engage you in conversation and are very polite, which is much appreciated. They seem a bit disorganized and manic at times. The food is mediocre as far as table fare, not bad but not remarkable either. The "Mediterranean menu" is more Turkish/Middle Eastern for my taste and definitely not what I expected from what I had. The Greek dishes are more a mix of the two, which was disappointing. I ordered a large variety to sample this time, and I believe my rating is fair. Good luck to them, and I hope they strive

Listen, people... Aria Mediterranean Cuisine, Swarthmore, PA, is THE BEST food I have eaten all year! The hummus and babaganush served with warm pita wedges are so tasty and creamy and rich, you will enjoy it by themselves as delightful meals. I tried the warm lamb kabob and salmon kabob, made in a light, delicious wrap with lettuce, onions, tomatoes and tzaziki sauce. It was a magnificent blend of warm and cool flavors that blended beautifully to my palate. My mind and taste buds were experiencing the delight of fresh healthy food at the same time feeling so amazingly gratified by an assembly of deliciousness. I really enjoyed the food. When I mentioned to Azeem, the owner/chef, about how much I enjoyed the meal, he made me his specialty fish!! Mildly spiced cajun swahi grilled in virgin olive oil. Man, the hits kept on coming! Friends, I usually take a lot of pictures to show of my meal. I was so hungry and enjoying the meal so much, I did not take my signature presentational food showcase. Try Aria Mediterranean Cuisine in Swarthmore. You will love it.

First, a nod to the man on Next Door that pointed this spot to me. They've been there 10 years and I DIDN'T KNOW! My sister-in-law and I purchased 3 days of food. Got home and feasted. She went for her Moussa and was only going to taste half and now it's gone.I ate half of the chicken curry platter with the cucumber salad YUMOOOO. The men were very nice and personable. Pics below. This place is my new best friend.
