We stored for lunch, and between us had the shrimp tacos, turkey, and brie grilled cheese and the crab dip. W all enjoyed it all. The crab dip was very creamy. I finished every bit. Service was friendly, and fast. We will definitely return. Oh, and can't beat the view!.
We sat outside and watched the dolphins. Our waitress was very attentive. Our party of 5 (including my grandson) came out to celebrate my daughters birthday.
Blackened mahi mahi, seafood platter, angels on horseback, mahi mahi tacos, children’s chicken fingers with a side of Mac and cheese.
No issue getting gluten free options!! Even the fried calamari could be ordered (and it was) gluten free.

Sat on the open porch with an amazing view! We've been here before and it gets better every time. So thankful for the GF options as this time, I was able to have the alligator and calamari, which were superb! Angels on horseback is the entree you want! Pure heaven on a dish! Service was great!!
I had the Bacon Jam Burger, and it was delicious! We sat out on the balcony and enjoyed the picture perfect view. It was an enjoyable lunch.
We loved everything about this place, from the food to the service to the setting!! Relaxing, delicious dinner, right on the water! The breeze was perfect!! Our server was just attentive enough, and he gave us some great recommendations. My tuna was amazing, so thank you! I would mention him by name, but we cannot remember!! We apologize! But we sat next to his beautiful family celebrating his Dad's birthday 🎂 Thank you for an amazing evening!
This place is a ten for atmosphere. Seats on the porch overlooking the water are awesome! Gator bites were delicious, fish tacos were decent, fish and chips were good as well. Our server was great as well.
There was bit of a wait but worth it. The Angels on Horseback was delicious (pictured). The staff was attentive and was friendly, even with each other. The chefs and cooks in BOH were in good spirits too and shared camaraderie, which is why the food tasted so good. Everyone was working together. You can tell this restaurant is doing it right. Nice view on the harbor. Good food. Would recommend.
Sarah was our server/waitress. A delightful person who made us feel at home. All ordered items, house salad and carb dip, came as ordered and just what we were looking for, a waterside view, a light lunch, a great service. My hats off to Sarah and her team. I will be back! Next time, with more people. Enjoy!
Excellent food served with style, great views, abundant selection of wines and drinks. My filet Oscar was perfectly prepared medium rare and was enjoyed with the Asiago risotto and steamed spinach. My date's grilled salmon was also perfectly cooked and prepared. This restaurant was recommended by locals and I see why. Definitely will return for another visit!
We walked in on a Friday at 4:30 with 20 people which includes 3 high chairs. The staff exceeded our expectations with the way they got the kids food out first, the servers knowledge, and food timing. Jill did an amazing job handling our large group and the manager made sure we were well taken care of. Additionally, the food was excellent - every single person enjoyed their meal.
Such a great place to dine in Swansboro! They have a wonderful dining area on the deck with water views.
We got the flounder , grilled. Chicken Caesar salad and fish & chips. Everything was so delicious and service was amazing . Wonderful hostesses and wait staff. Definitely will visit again!!
My husband and I were recently in Emerald Isle for the first time. We were there to celebrate my birthday and I wanted to go out to dinner in Swansboro. We searched online and we weren't sure where to go, but when we drove there we found a parking spot right by Saltwater Grill and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad we did because this was one of the best dinners I've ever had at a restaurant. We also had a view of the water which was very nice. I can't have dairy and ordered the Shrimp Scampi (made without butter) and it was incredible! My husband had the shrimp and grits and said it was the best shrimp and grits he's ever had. Our server was very friendly as well. Afterwards we walked on the dock and around Swansboro for a while - it was such a gorgeous evening. We loved this restaurant and this little town and hope to be back soon!
The atmosphere is so calm and relaxing, gorgeous views but not too windy sitting outside. Very clean, staff are super friendly! Pricing is fair for location and quality/value! Portions are very nice and all the food was absolutely amazing!
I recently discovered I have an allergy to gluten and this was the first restaurant I ate at while on vacation. I was pretty nervous about not having options and/or cross contamination eating out but our server made me feel so confident! Anything on the menu (but 3-4 dishes I think) can be made gluten free and our server made sure to reassure me that everything I ordered was gluten free, he even checked around to see if A1 sauce is gluten free. which I truly didn’t know if it was or wasn’t (it is). Will definitely be back when I’m in town! A gluten free girlies bff 💜
Had a great lunch! Wait staff were on it. We were exhausted from being in the sun Bowfishing all morning and we couldn't have asked for a better lunch experience. Had a Rueben Sandwhich and the rest of our part had the club sandwhich. No one could finish their club sandwiches, they were huge! Great price for the meals, too.
Came for a girls night out! Service was great, staff is very friendly, and the food is so tasty! Definitely recommend for a post beach dinner for locals or those on vacation this is a must visit restaurant!
