Volo Craft Pizza

Outstanding! I live in Lynn and can't believe its taken me this long to try the pizza here. The owners are the nicest people I've ever met, right from Italy. I tried the Parm first because absolutely love how prosciutto, fig, balsamic and arugula go together. Definitely going to be coming here a lot more. Sorry the pic is already missing two pieces because I couldn't wait.

I didn't realize there was no place to really sit and it was mostly a takeout place, but the owner was super sweet and moved tables, that had a ton of boxes on top, outside for us to sit down. We ordered the cremini mushroom Detroit style pizza which was super cheesy and the mushrooms were nicely cooked! I got the gnocchi with meatballs that was pretty good and came with a flavorful sauce! We split the house salad which had too many onions and could've used more of the other ingredients. The owner brought out cannoli dip on the house which was nice and light, and the lemon zest on top was the cherry on top! Definitely recommend if you want to do take-out pizza with great customer service!

The pizza here is fantastic!!! Tony is a charming character and clearly has a passion for food, both Italian style and with an American twist. The tomato sauce is incredible! We recently spent 5 weeks in Italy and this easily rivals Italian tomatoes (which I didn’t think was possible). The pizza base was a little thicker/Americanised than what one might expect in Napoli however it was delicious in its own way. We also had the Detroit style which is rich and generous. If you’re lucky enough to be close by Volo then drop by and you won’t be disappointed. If you’re further away it’s worth the journey.
