The Bibimbab & Bbq

I've been to this plaza about 247 times but never tried it out. I'm glad I finally did because it's my favorite spot to get some soon dooboo. It's very tasty ... and you can get it with noodles. That hits two spots immediately. The banchan is alright, too. Even though it's not in the restaurant name, the dolsot bibimbap is AMAZING, by the way. Really flavorful. It paired extremely well with my soon dooboo. I wish they had half-and-half orders like a soup and sandwich combo thingy. Anyway, I wouldn't say there's much to add about the atmosphere. Just busy and loud.

Excellent Korean Tofu House. Fast friendly service. Rice is served in traditional stone pot, then prepared as a classic nurungi (crispy overdone rice with barley tea). Side dishes were excellent and staff is quick to serve. The soft tofu stew was cooked to perfection and they nailed the spicy levels and the soft texture of the silk tofu.

4 stars because the kimchi was bad. It was very bland like it was made yesterday without any flavouring (like no fish sauce flavour or that little shrimp sauce in it). The seafood soondubu stew is very good. It comes with stone bowl rice. The beef bibimbap, regular Bowl, was very good. It can with a mini beef stock based egg drop soup.

I only took a picture of 콩국, but tofu soup was good also. I was craving something different and happened to run into 콩국, but I walked in thinking tofu soup. I haven't had 콩국 since 2015 so this was a welcome surprise. I thought it tasted great and even better with kimchi. Almost felt like I was back in Korea for a minute or two. Price was reasonable for lunch especially if you look at the portion. Swing by and have some 콩국. I personally like 콩국 over 물냉면.
