Zaxby's

Buffalo Bleu salad is pretty good, sorry, I just can't bring myself to say "zalad"... The menu is a little simple in my opinion, hence the 4 star rating. I would rather that they keep a simple menu and do it right, however. The decor is wood paneling and local sport-centric, with a splash of vintage advertisements. Every one that I have ever been in is above average clean, and the staff is usually young, but focused on their job. All in all, an above average experience, with quick and good service. The good is good for what it is, but the slice of chewy Texas toast with fake butter is the single downfall to the concept. If the replaced that with some yeast rolls with honey butter, it would be a grand slam, and I would seriously consider a 5 star rating.

It is amazing to us the difference in the difference in the different Zaxbys. My wife gets 1-3 grilled house salads per week. We go to the one on Lawrenceville Suwanee Road we go to the one at Hamilton Mill we go to the one past the Mall of Georgia. She says one past the Mall of Georgia is the best. I think the one at Hamilton Mill is the best. All of them are very good. We have had some lettuce that was very wet. That is mostly the only complaint that we have ever had. Some of them do put less chicken and the salads than the others. She can tell this by the amount of dressing it takes to cover her salad. She always get honey mustard. Almost smaller salads one pack will do fine. On the better salad she must use both packs. The Personnel are super super friendly very courteous always always and always have their mask on. All in all Zaxby's rates a Five Star Plus rating with us. Thank you for being kind and thank you for being consistent in your restaurant. Steve and Shirley Brooks.

I ordered a grilled Caesar salad and a sweet tea with light ice while on my way home. The cup was filled with ice; about ¼ of the cup was actually tea. I can live with that; sometimes that happens and that’s not what prompted this review. Every piece of lettuce was brown around the edges and more. Not just a small corner of a few pieces; every piece. That’s not what a restaurant should be serving customers. That’s not what you call fresh ingredients. And… the bacon was slightly under cooked. I threw it in the trash and headed to another restaurant for food. I wish I took a picture before did but I usually don’t write reviews.
