This place is a MUST. Such amazing food I will be coming back every year for our annual family trip! Our margarita pizza was the best I’ve ever had and the baked mozzarella was to die for (I’ll be dreaming of it until we return next year). Such a gem.

We had a terrific experience at this little cozy, under the radar bistro at BSF. Outstanding locally-sourced beet/goat cheese spinach salad and excellent pizza from their wood/fired oven. Recommend taking advantage of their Pizza and Pinot $25 special. 👍🏻
We had brunch and it was well worth it. You get tons of food so make sure you’re hungry. The burrata was excellent. Tomatoes and green were so yummy. Desserts were awesome.
Lamb soup was excellent. Flat bread margarita pizza good too. (Update potatoe bacon pizza yummy! So sad to see wait staff with masks under their noses ☹️)

Hearth & Vine has re-opened with a sized-just-right menu and pizzas back online! I enjoyed my perfect sandwich, made from locally-sourced ingredients, outdoors among the picturesque Black Star Farms setting.

Beautiful atmosphere, friendly waitress, amazing food, and fun for the kids. They grow most of their own food and you can taste the freshness with every bite. It was definitely the best food we've had in Michigan.
I have wanted to stop here for a while but never quite plan ahead. This year I took the time to stop for lunch while visiting the winery's tasting room. The food was delicious and the environment was perfect for a summer afternoon.
We enjoyed Chef Lance's cooking class today. Chef Lance taught us to make Chinese takeout. He was very personable, open to questions and engaging. We have already committed to his next class.

Great farm to table type restaurant. We love the pizzas and goat tacos. The kids loved the pizza and animals outside!
