Review Big Belly Burger Deli - Sunriver

Found this awesome hole in a wall while traveling back home to Washington State on July 4th! And so glad they were opened. We was hungry and was looking for a place to have lunch and settled on Subway which was the only food spot I seen on google map. I’m so thankful my buddy spotted this place ( good call ) and we decided to go here instead and I’m glad we did. Mind you we have a group of 20 or so. Mostly kids and teenagers. We walked in and was for sure we was unable to dine in due to limitations of seating. So we got menus to order and maybe take out food to a near by park. But the awesomeness of the Ladies that work there noticed we had plenty of people with us and offered us their sports bar that was connected to the establishment that we didn’t know about that would seat all of us. We took the offer. It was totally kind of her and the gals that worked there. I’m sorry I didn’t get the names of the Ladies but they all looked like sisters. They were kind hearted and nice and treated us with the upmost respect. Much appreciated. We settled in the sports bar portion of the restaurant. BUT!!! Other then the kind gesture’s of the workers, Here is why we loved and enjoyed the place!! They had a small style casino room with 4 slot machines. Lol. That was the icing on the cake. Ching Ching. Food, Drinks, Slots !!! What more can you ask for?? Awesome place . Awesome Staff. Awesome Environment. Kudos guys . Thank you!!!

So if you come to sunriver don't be fooled by the looks of this place on the outside go on in and order some food. The food is really good the service is excellent and they can make it to go which is nice. The burger was hudge and had plenty of fresh cut french fries even though I ordered tator tots so if it has one issue I would check the order before you leave. I am really happy I found this place the food was really good for a fair price. Great Job

Great selection for gluten free food. Owner is GF so the menu caters to folks with that need….. my wife. Chicken strips, burgers, sandwiches, even French fries cooked in its own gluten free bath. I can also get an amazing gluten filled burger or sandwich. I have had many of their items and all is great! The place looks like a little joint but they also have a bar in back. The locals, like us, know this is the spot to come too.

Big Belly is certainly not a very fancy joint. It's not even a fancy joint, to be fair ... its plain and simple just a joint. Simple menu run by some very simple hard working folks who will prepare for you an honest hand made medium well done burger served on good quality buns with a good portion of toppings and sides of hand cut lightly seasoned fries, sweet potato fries, or commercially made tots (but they are deep fried so they are worth the getting). Fair prices, friendly but not sacrinny attention, reasonably fast service, and a no frills corner to allow family and friends to break (a few thousand calories on) bread and spend time together. $70 total for 4 including 20% tip. No leftovers but no one was anything but stuffed. Highly recommended. Only cons ... cannot order a rare burger, and they use generic and hunts ketchup, not heinz ... in diners and dives ketchup labels are like a Michelin rated restaurant's wine list ... Note Covid requirements just lifted ... we wore masks until food came out, no other customers or employees wore masks .. no more than 10 people inside at any one time. Steady stream of takeout orders.

Do NOT deny yourself a Big Belly Burger! Yes, when you pass by it doesn't seem like much, and frankly it's not much, which is okay because you won't be disappointed. Simple atmosphere, open kitchen, and really good food! I had the Phillie Steak sandwich which is hard to find anywhere and it did not disappoint. Superbly cooked steak, peppers, onions, melted cheese and the most important item - soft yet resilient bread. It was fantastic, the best I have come across so far. Came with a huge pile of delicious, crunchy and not over salted fries (thank you). I asked for the Chipotle Ranch fry sauce which was the real deal, a bit of kick with every bite. My wife had the bacon jalapeno burger. While it was not spicy, it was a monster of a burger and super flavorful. As she was holding it between bites the juices dripped, dripped and dripped. She ordered Tater Tots which, much like the fries, were more than we could eat, super crunchy and not over salted. Great food. Great value (prices are awesome for what you get). Great service. Oh! And they had a nice variety of beer on tap as well as hard liquor. The staff was super friendly and the place was VERY clean. Frankly, I don't understand why there was not a line of people waiting to get in. I suggest they are a must try. We will absolutely come back next time we come visit this area. Do NOT miss this place.

Best place to get food. Always consistent, always bright faces, and just warm and welcoming. I make reasons to boogie down her for some goodies.

It's always nice when the "Special" really is something special; a notch above the regular fare. The Raquelle Sando was listed as such, and it delivered. Advertised as a Reuben with coleslaw it was a great sandwich. Start with perfectly buttered and grilled marbled rye, a generous portion of tender pastrami and the coleslaw was special all on its own. The Cajun fried zucchini starter was also top notch and the choice of beer battered onion rings rounded out a truly special meal. Highly recommended when hungry in Sunriver.

Amazing place! We went with a big group and the service was wonderful, the food tastes amazing, and the prices are very fair! Can't wait to go back!! Highly recommend the philly cheese steak and an ice cold Moscow mule!

The interior and exterior of this place will not "WOW" you, but if you skip this place because of appearance alone, you're missing out! I picked up the Cheddar Bacon Blue burger, and it was like a breath of fresh air. I've not had a burger that good in a long time, and it reminded me why I love food out here in Central Oregon. The people are friendly as well and happy to help!

Great food, friendly service, and nice beer selection on draft! We were visiting Sunriver and things were really busy in the village. I had been wanting to try big belly for a year or two so we popped over and I was not disappointed! Not cheap, but reasonable prices for quality pub grub. If you're biking there, just head for the business park.

Excellent burgers, great sandos, friendly staff. The fries here are fantastic. Beer on tap plus bar. Can't ask for much more. Service was prompt and with a smile. I wish them all the success in the world. Way to guy guys!

Top 10 blue cheese burger! Excellent burger and a huge helping of tots. Price is VERY fair. Not a big tap selection but they had what I want to drink as far as beer goes. I'll be back soon!

Fast, delicious food with a decent selection of draft beer and spirits. Social bartenders that are easy on the eyes 👀. It's reminiscent of a sandwich shop but tvs to watch games and enjoy a convo in close quarters.

Called in ahead to pick up burgers. Very friendly worker. Not a long wait at all. The burgers hit the spot!! So yummy. Prices are fair with generous portions. Most of our fries were a little too crispy and hard for my liking. But great flavor. Would recommend for a cheaper option than a restaurant!!

Delicious burgers, amazing staff and nice appetizers. Mixed drinks are stiff and affordable. Definitely make time to stop in and enjoy this burger spot.
