Try their Misti Doi (Bagurar Khirsa Doi) not that Putul Brand doi. Today's Review: ------------------------------------ Bought a rohu fish yesterday. The weight was 5.16 lb. When paying the price, we found that it's $4.99 / lb and cleaning fee is $3 So my total was 25.75+3= $28.75 They should mention the price before. Though the owner said that if I don't want to take, he can sell to others. But I didn't find it helpful and paid the amount. There are vendors (Meat Corner and others) who are selling 7lb above Rohu for $28 which includes cleaning and custom cut. Why should we go to Desi Bazar Desi Kitchen then? Response from the owner: ------------------------------------------------ Because Desi bazar Desi Kitchen offer you upto 5 lbs fish only 3.39/Lbs which will cost you 15-17$ only. No one (vendor) does in the Bay Area except us! Our next sizes are 5-9 lbs, 9-12, 12-15, and 15-18 lbs; no one has that many options in the Bay Area! Regarding quality: you have to like our fishes or 100% money back!!!! My Reply: ----------------------------------------------- Several times I complained that the fish is not good, but you politely replied, "Oh!! Is it?", then started doing your work. So don't say that 100% money back guaranteed. I know that you have variety of fishes but the price is somehow more than others.
