What a great name that suggest donning a cowboy hat. Barbeque smoke and smell greet you outside. Masks seem optionable, but the drinks are a must. A neighborhood bar, a bit hidden, means loyal customers and interesting conversations. Outside, a band plays and beckons would-be-dancers. Order food at the counter and then go to the bar to order beers or watch sports. Many options to stay indoors or outside at a picnic table. You will realize that this place is good for catering or private parties.
I LOVE the Old Greenwood BBQ and Saloon. Great food and a fun place to watch sports. Full bar and good wine selections. A fun place to gather with friends and family! We visit often. Ryan and his staff are friendly too.

Very nice. I'd say 4.7 for food alone. I had the brisket plate which was slightly dry but then I normally order brisket from the "juicy" side & totally forgot to do so here, so any dryness may be my own fault in a way. Love that it was not overly spiced to any degree; just 90% smoked meat flavor 10% spices. The bbq sauces I won't judge as I don't like standard bbq sauce at all anyway. With that said, I did enjoy the Carolina one as it was more of a mustard than a bbq sauce. Tho, as I had it with brisket, it did make me think of corn beef n cabbage lol, so I didn't have much of it.
The staff was so friendly all around; from the guy taking my order with a big welcoming smile to the bar tender who did the true bar tender thing and chat a bit while pouring my drink, asking about my day. She even discussed the drink I selected & had me try it to make sure it was to my liking. Very great service here. And a guy came & cleared my table just now as I type, despite this being a clean after yourself sort of place. Awesome!
The ambiance and view from the patio tho *chef kiss* magnifico! So peaceful. Fantastic way to spend a Friday afternoon lunch. Came to scope the place out for my birthday dinner next Friday & I have for sure found the spot. Will be back, with others & will recommend.
This place is an awesome little beer garden! I was confused by the pictures of the food truck (which does exist!) But when we got there it turns out that out back there's an awesome patio. The tables have little fireplaces built in and are well spaced out, so it was great for a evening beer now that it's chilly out.
Can't say much about the BBQ because I didn't try it, but we did get the loaded tater tots and garlic fries and they were both great. Good beer menu and bar options. The bartender had great recommendations, so tell them what you like and maybe they'll show you something new. (I got a hard kombucha which wasn't on the menu but was perfect for my tastes, so it's worth asking!)
This BBQ spot is a best kept secret of Silicon Valley. I'm so glad we got to try it! I'll be back to visit and try the rest of the yumminess on the menu! The bar next door also has an awesome selection!
I had a pulled pork sandwich and my wife had a burger and both were delicious. Pulled pork comes with 3 BBQ sauces and they all tasted delicious
Great BBQ place, I don't play golf. Loved the brisket and all the awesome sides. Great beer choices and the staff are really friendly. Huge outdoor seating area with TVs and overlooking that natural beauty of the area.
