My husband and I got married on Veterans Day this past weekend and my husband is a Marine Corps vet. The week before we got married I asked the Sun Prairie VFW if they had anything that I could give the veterans during our wedding as there were going to be vets from my husbands 1st and 2nd deployment. They were gracious enough to give us properly folded flags to give to all the vets that were at our wedding. We are very thankful for their donation and the vets were blessed as well. Thank you again!!

Love their lunch specials! We frequently arrive with a group of 6-8 and have no trouble finding space. There's not a ton of variety on the menu, but it's all tasty, and the lunch specials are creative, delicious, and in quantities sufficient for even the hungriest military heroes.
It just feels good to be around the HEROES that stop by for a drink here.
The staff is nice and friendly and their food is great! The lunch is from 11-3 I believe or maybe 2. Either way it is always great. With the lunch special you dont leave there hungry. I personally love when they are serving fish and shrimp!!!

Best corned beef dinner. Couldn't believe the amount of beef and it was so tender. Cabbage, carrots, rutabaga and potatoes plus cake and coffee. Had lots to take home. Green beer on tap too. Really great meal.
Has great Sunday breakfast with good bloody Mary's. Not many choices but 2 eggs, sausage or bacon, hashbrowns and toast Great accommodations for group gatherings.
