Review Soul Of India - Sudbury

We were trying to get some Indian food in Framingham and finally ended up in this place. Nice location and we underestimated this place. the food quality was really good and we bought chicken and mutton biryani. The food was little salty and spicy but it was tasty and not oily. Little pricey for the quantity but worth a try

Authentic indian food in Framingham. Don't underestimate the portions, they are very generous & filling!

The ambiance is good.. I personally did not like the rice and the bread served in the buffet menu. The non veg entrees were pretty good.

Very impressive owner here at Soul of India. Really cares that you have a good time eating his (their) cuisine out or in. And my whole family smiles when I suggest "how about Indian tonight"? Totally bankable good time even during the pandemic. 5 stars.

We have been coming here for past 5 years and we love it. You will find real Indians eating authentic Indian foods. Let me warm you that I find medium spicy!! Garlic naan is a must. Curries and samosas are great. They don't skimp on condiments. This is a family style restaurant and everyone is nice and polite. Support the pride of metro west!

We returned to the restaurant for the first time since covid (don't worry-we still ordered delivery on the regular!) and what a delight it was! The food, of course, was spectacular and the service was top notch. I cannot recommend Soul of India enough. Thanks for having us this evening and helping us celebrate a special night ❤️

my experience was take out: ordered online but when we got inside the servers and what i perceive to be the owner were sooo friendly! they gave me great service while also making small conversation. the food was also so good. i love a good spicy butter chicken and the garlic naan was the perfect add on. 10/10 recommend

This review is about their recently opened buffet. I really enjoyed their dish when I ordered chicken tikka and paneer in March of 2020. I was so excited when they brought back their lunch buffet. However it was a complete disappointment. Tandoori was so dry and their curry were lacking flavor. It felt like it’s from a different restaurant than the one I experienced before. They had very few dish in their buffet compare to other Indian places I go to (I’ve been to +20 Indian buffets just in the greater Boston area), and it didn’t even taste as good. I still can’t believe this is the same restaurant that I tried before.

Absolutely delicious. Some of the best Indian food I've had. What sends this place over the top is the service. These people go out of the way to ensure your meal is absolutely everything you want it to be. Worth the drive!

Excellent food and superb staff. Mr. Jay was most friendly. I lived in Ahmedabad, India for 6 months and and ate Indian food everyday. Seriously, the food here is the real deal. I am starting a new job in the area soon and will definitely drag the team over for lunch.

This is the best Indian restaurant in Metro West and probably all of Boston. A high compliment, as my husband PROPOSED to me in an Indian restaurant and we have been eating at Indian restaurants forever. The buffet is varied and delicious and the owner is delightful and helpful. So is the wait staff. They are like family. Come to Sunday brunch. You won't be disappointed.

As always: great food. First time we ordered for delivery. We didnt have to wait too long (about an hour) and when it got here, everything was fresh, hot, and delicious.

This is hands down the best Indian restaurant in the Boston area. And we've tried them all. Authentic and they use quality ingredients. No shortcuts. Plus they're some of the nicest people around. I feel lucky that we found them.

We accidentally ended up in this place since the place we planned to go to for dinner was overcrowded and had a really long wait. Some accidents lead to amazing discoveries! FOOD: Excellent. Appetizer: Palak Channa Tikki. These were smaller in size when compared to other Indian restaurants. BUT, in my humble opinion, I like small portion appetizers because they are supposed to "flare up" your appetite and not kill it. These 'tikkis' were terrific and hit the spot for me. Main Course: Shahi Paneer Makhani, Milone Tarkari, Onion Parantha, and Plain Rice. Their Onion Parantha is the best onion parantha I have had till date. Crisp and thin! The vegetable dishes were tasty. We ate the leftovers next day for dinner. Dessert: Kulfi. Awesome. We also ordered beer to go along with the food! SERVICE: Excellent. They served with a smile and so much tender loving care that it made me think - yes ... they care about their customers. BEST PART: Small things that make a huge difference ... and the experience made me think of a Sanskrit proverb - 'Atithi Deva Bhava'. Besides the fact that the food was served with so much love, a small plate of salad comes at no charge here. When I think about it - all it had was 3/4 slices of each: onion, cucumber, tomato and few green chillis with 'chutki bhar chaat masala' sprinkled on it - but it displayed a lot of tenderness. The experience for me got even better when our dessert was served (I and my husband ordered one 'kulfi' to share). They actually split it into two plates (with both the plates looking so pretty) and added two spoonful of 'gajar halwa' on each of our plates. Seriously, I went to eat some yum dinner, but I experienced so much tenderness that I came out of that place thinking I want my every meal to feel like this - I was no longer thinking of the taste! Absolutely beautiful! We will be back very soon.

The food was good and service was excellent . Before we finished , we ordered a gulab Jamun and Rasgolla - they got out these nice dessert plates for ALL 6 of us at no extra charge - complete with a chocolate sauce decoration .. That was a real nice touch ..

The service and food at the Soul of India is superb. The staff of The Soul of India are friendly and strive to make you feel at home. The wide array of authentic Indian and indoasian dishes are a delight to the pallet. The dining atmosphere is modest but comfortable as if you are at home. The Saturday after noon buffet is a perfect opportunity to try a wide assortment of Indian cooking especially if you are new to Indian food. Thank you Soul of India for making our dining experience consistently a culinary and enjoyable social event.

We just had a nice dinner there for the first time. My husband liked his butter chicken in a special way, and the owner and the staff was ready to prepare it for him. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly! The price is right! Highly recommend it!

Soul of India is small but very nice inside. They offer a lunch buffet which is inexpensive but quite good. Great place for those who love Indian cuisine and for those who would like to try via the buffet!

Amazing food, reasonable prices and the owner couldn't do more to make you feel comfortable. Here is a restaurant more concerned on keeping the customer happy than making money!
