Food is good, service was just ok. Server needed to be more attentive to us, it was not a busy part of the day (early morning) and the server only came by a few times, the last time to hand us our bill and go on break. DON'T get the hot buffet not hot, over cooked and dry.
Fried chicken is dry. The Prime Rib is also dry and over cooked too too well done. BBQ chicken is skinless but no BBQ sauce only little juice not covering the chicken. Dry and tasteless chicken.

Things seemed to have gone down hill. From the new waitress an waiters to the food. The steak is a much cheaper cut. The buffet is really lame even though it's only on weekends. The meals are less and poorly prepared. We could only hope things improve. I know they had a upheaval with the old staff
I like my omelet/skillet fresh and Iron Skillet can deliver. Each time I go fishing to Wisconsin, I stop by for my breakfast at the IS in Racine. Polite staff and very good food, even coffee is really not bad;) keep it going guys!
Man so disappointed drove 27 miles to eat my one good meal of the day. To find out Y'all removed the buffet. There are people plus us TRUCKDRIVERS that can't stop for a good couple of hr all the time when we do we like to take in a good meal and not be rushed for time. Then y'all just put the buffet
It would get a better rating but when they do a bad sub of food. Its sad. I order the salmon plate with green beans as in the photo and i get canned green beans. Disgusting I know it hard work there but get the order right like the rest of the iron skillet.

I have never experienced chicken fried catfish prior to this experience and I'm seriously praying I never face this again.
