Pizza Ranch

We were there around 2:30pm or so and were the only ones there. The lady who took our order when we came in said the buffet started at 5pm. We didn't know they had a buffet. She was very friendly. We had pizza, chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and chocolate chip cookie dessert. It was a combo of some sort. The pizza was good, I had pan crust. The chicken was a little overcooked but still good. My husband didn't like the potatoes as they had garlic in them. The place was clean and very nice. It sits in a small strip mall. Would go there again.

Kids eat free on Tuesday….that’s pretty much the highlight of the eating experience. Chicken is over fried, then cooked more in the heating tray until it’s the consistency of a rubber dog toy. The mashed potatoes could probably work to construct an adobe style house, or mud hut. And, I’m fairly confident even the local rabbit population wouldn’t be interested in the salad selection.

Usually when I go out to a pizza ranch, an eat. The buffet is actually stocked with pizza, an fresh looking food. The display was not the best. The food, I ate it only cause I had to eat. The upside, was after we requested a pizza it came out fast, but not enough pizza over all...pizza was dry, an flavorless. The pasta was good, except the standing liquid that was present covering my whole plate.

Tried this place five times in a year. Each time was bad; the last time the worst. Disgusting. Food and small trash on floor throughout restaurant especially around buffets. Remnants of various pizzas were old and dried out. Nothing fresh or edible. Hot food bar items were old. Chicken dry as hockey pucks and food spilled all over buffet and into various food bins. Salad bar items had been spilled all in other bins. Only two bin ingredients did not have other food mixed in. The restaurant was grimy overall, especially the floors. Eating here gave me the willies and I couldn't finish my food. At least I did not get sick. That's something positive, I suppose.

Old pizza, one pizza at a time would come out, & this was at 6:30p.m. on a Wednesday. Everything out was old, dried out, & we waited & waited. Before we left, we wanted dessert, there wasn’t anything but the empty pans, & the soft serve ice cream ran out. Save your time & money & go to Dairy Queen right next door!
