My son and his beautiful bride got married at Old Sturbridge Village in the barn and the wedding reception was at Oliver Wight Tavern at the end of last month. I can't Express my how wonderful everyone involved was from day 1. Starting with the food tasting night( see photos below) and again throughout the entire reception service and food was excellent. I would highly recommend this place. I would like at this time also to let you know Oliver's has a Sunday Brunch that is well worth checking out if your in the area. Special mention:we met Shayne at the food tasting night and was very fortunate to have her serving at the wedding reception. Shayne is one of those individuals that make you feel special even at a special occasion. Peg who works as a buffet server, very helpful and attentive. Chris a young man who makes really good omelets was from CT.

Went there for the Winter Revel Ball, it was fun to dress up like people did during the time period, did not know anything about 1830's ballroom dancing, was taught every step and ended up dancing the whole night, the food was great, the prime rib and popovers was my favorite, would go back and do again!

I recently had my daughter's baby shower, in the Grecian room at the Oliver Wight Tavern. It truly exceeded my expectations! Booking the event with Denise went so smoothly. Chad made sure everything was set up perfectly(and it was). Our server Shelby was efficient and friendly! The food/sweets we choose was all excellent! Everyone enjoyed themselves! I would highly recommend the venue for any future events!

The Sunday Brunch at the Oliver Wight Tavern has become a family tradition with us - and a lovely way to entertain friends as well! The food selections are enormous and delicious, the wait staff is friendly and efficient, the atmosphere is delightful, and our group can always enjoy an unhurried and relaxing dining experience together. Anyone who hasn't tried it yet is in for a real treat when they do!

When it is not crowded,it is a nice place to have breakfast. The food is good with a variety of offerings, the price is reasonable. The tables tend to wobble. The staff can get harried and become inattentive. We go for a lazy Sunday brunch.

Service was great. Food was good. We were there for the prime rib meal, 29.00, it included soup, salad, prime rib, vegetables ,dessert and coffee. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. Special thanks to our server, she was the best.
