Canton House Chinese Restaurant

Just got take-out after ignoring the warnings of previous posts. I got general taos which was something like pieces of a butchered chicken was disgusting I threw it out. The pf rice was mushy and bland. My husband's beef lo mein he said was good but salty. The girl would not substitute veg for pork fr so I ended up paying an extra $10 I shouldn't have, actually it was $30 I wasted. I will listen to reviews next time. Worst Chinese I've ever had.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Stay away, find another place to eat. Peking duck horrible, fried wontons soggy, sweet and sour chicken soggy, chicken and snow peas with brown sauce no brown sauce. Pancakes for duck cut in half. Breast of the duck put in vegetables and sauce thats not peking. Worst food we have ever had and all for the bargain price of 109.00. Id rather give this review than go back and throw it in there face but its close.

There is currently only take out service offered, however the service was great. All (8) meals were correct as ordered over the phone and labeled for simple disbursement; the food was pretty good too. The amount of food, good quality of it, and the efficient service makes this place a 2-3 times a month rotationing restaurant for us.

This restaurant is a NO GO! I had a very busy day, so I decided on take out for dinner. Stopping on my way home at Canton House. I ordered the General white meat only. As I was sitting waiting for my order, looked around noticing how dirty the restaurant was: the wall paper is hanging off the walls, windows were extremely dirty but I was tired and hungry so I took my order and went home. The first piece of chicken seemed a little off but I continued. I tried to finish the second piece when my whole mouth had this funny taste. I just couldn't eat another bite. Not only was the meat dry like rubber, but taste very sour, as in spoiled. So I called the restaurant, asked very nicely to speak to the owner explaining why I wanted to return the food. To my surprise the owner insisted white meat tastes that way and is always dry. Really! I'm giving Canton House a new name the "No Go" restaurant.
