Moe's Charcoal Grill

I tried this place twice so far and was very disappointed both times. I gave the establishment another chance as the first time I tried it they had just opened. My first experience I waited over an hour for my food, ordered the shrimp scampi and it had absolutely no seasoning, just dry nasty shrimp on a skewer. The second time my fries were not completely cooked and my burger was in pieces and was not even presentable to serve to a customer. I gave this place a try but will not be returning. *Update*-Customer service rectified my second order and was polite and friendly. I tried the shrimp scampi again and it was great! Great season and flavor. I’m assuming someone must have forgot to season the first time because it looked and tasted completely different. Establishment is also nice and clean.

This place became an instant favorite for me. My first time there I ordered a half order of their jerk chicken and I was amazed at the amount of food I got for such a small price. And the jerk seasoning was some of the best I've ever tasted! Ordered out from there on another occasion for me and my father. This time a full order of the same. We had enough food for both of us for dinner and for lunch the next day. My father said their black beans were some of the most flavorful beans he had ever tasted. The grilled veggies were also fantastic.We liked it so much we literally ordered the exact same thing the next day. So, we ate Moe's for the better part of the week and neither of us got tired of it! Tried the steak there once and it was only okay. This place is definitely a chicken joint. But for the price, the quantity of food, and the incredible flavor of their chicken and sides, this place can't be beat!

Did not know what to expect coming here, most food in the area is pretty basic. I absolutely loved it! Rice was amazing with a hint of cinnamon, chicken was BBQ'd perfectly, beans were seasoned well, and we got a free side because it was Tuesday! Also was given bread and butter for the table. The server was very polite. We paid $14 for all this, and it was enough for 2 Adults & 2 small toddlers.

I don't know what other people who give this place bad reviews taste buds are like but, Moe's is hands down the best place to get delicious quality food fast and without spending a fortune. And they give generous portions! The food is far from dry, juicy all around no matter what you order.. believe me, I've had my fair share from their menu. Definitely a place stop if you're in the area, if you have normal taste buds you won't be disappointed.

When Moe's first opened the food quality was much better, it has since gone down. I ordered jumbo shrimp today to find out they were sold out of the vegetables that there is an upcharge for. When my shrimp arrived, they were very tough and definitely not jumbo. I requested a replacement shrimp order which again arrived tough as if they were cooked and reheated in the microwave, absolutely gross. I really wanted this restaurant to succeed, but I don't think I can patronize it anymore.
