Bono Pizza

Bono Pizza is always a solid "go to" for me, especially since they deliver within my community. Is it NYC pizza worthy? I have no idea, I'm from Illinois, so I'm not a pizza snob. I just know that I like their pizza. And, I LOVE their staff. Erkan is the absolute best and that dude is as honest as the day is long. Last night, after delivering my pizza, he came back to my house about 30-seconds later. He wanted to give me money back because I thought I had accidentally given him too much for the tip. Who does that? I didn't even know folks like Erkan still existed. And, for that reason alone, I want to continue to support Bono! Thanks, Erkan, for giving me faith that good and honest workers are still out there. And, thanks to Bono Pizza for always making a great pizza.

The whole point of this review is if you order off of DoorDash,Grubhub, or Uber eats make sure you are very descriptive with what you want in the remarks because there menu choices do not match the descriptions. I ordered penne Alfredo with Chicken and broccoli from DoorDash. Paid $23 plus I gave driver $10 tip. I received penne Alfredo and that’s it! The description said it came with the missing ingredients chicken & broccoli. I was so annoyed at the fact I paid $30 for penne noodles and not what I was expecting I drove directly to the store. They told me I was wrong at first but then were happy to fix and add the missing ingredients. In the end the food was pretty good I’ll give it at 8 out of 10. Garlic bread gets a 2……But just the whole situation was very irritating, they need to update their menus !!!!!

Fast service, pleasant people, great pizza. Starving, I walked into Bono and the guy at the counter was so nice and suggested a Ratoni pizza.. I was hesitant but he assured me if I didn’t like it he’d give me a free slice! Needless to say, it was delicious and I didn’t get my free slice 😂 Great place for a quick bite!

Two great accommodating experiences! Pizzas were delicious! One time they never answered the phone for a delivery, so my order was cancelled. Zeppoles are delicious, but bite size? It's not what I remember from the Jersey Shore. That being said, they are close and I will be returning to try other selections...

Popped in for a slice here today. Kinda didnt even know this place was here, but it came up on maps so I had to check it out. They had a nice selection of slices and the pies looked real thin and good. I got a cheese slice as always and the girl working the counter was very nice and kinda...well actually...quite good looking. She put my slice in and checked me out and then the pizza guy who was outside smoking a cig when I arrived came in and took my slice out. Too soon. I wanted to like this slice a lot more because it was so thin and it had the perfect amount of cheese. That being said, they didnt give it enough time in the oven and I found the sauce to be rather bland. The crust didnt get much of a chance because of it being slightly underdone, but what I tasted was actually pretty good. On google i would normally give this a 3 star as I would rate this slice about a 6.1 out of 10....but it appears I am the first person to review this place, so I'm gonna throw in some brownie points and throw out the 4. Still goin 6.1 on the slice, but I'm definitely going to stop in here again and give em another chance. Not bad, not great...
