Corner Cafe

What's not to love about this modest yet incredible neighborhood joint located on busy Washington Street in a little plaza next to a convenience store. We came in for breakfast and settled for the 2+2+2 combo which features "2 eggs any style, choice of 2 Pancakes or 2 slices French toast, & choice of 2 slices bacon, or 2 sausage or 1 ham & home fries" for an unbeatable $8. Oh and did I mention that the two pancakes that come with it are the size of a medium pizza? Both the wife and I were defeated about a third of the way in. We devoured the perfectly cooked bacon and eggs but the pancakes were just too big. Our bill was of around $21 with drinks and service was absolutely incredible. All in all this low-key place is absolutely perfect and everything that one would except for a breakfast spot. Their food is delish and comes out quick and everything is affordable as well. They even have private parking spots (although it does fill up on weekends). No complaints, only praise. I look forward to returning soon.

My Son and I had breakfast....what a breakfast!!!! Food was delicious and portions were huge. The waitress was very pleasant, made us feel right at home. Very clean and the atmosphere was AWESOME. Prices were very reasonable and like I said the portions were huge. All in all I would recommend The Corner Cafe to everyone for a GREAT MEAL. We will definitely go back.

This Place is the home of the HUGE PANCAKES. Good service, very friendly staff. Sausage was a little soapy but Bacon was perfect, nice and crispy. Homefries were cooked perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning. Girlfriend says her eggs were perfect. They forget the blue berries in my HUGE PANCAKES but fixed it and gave me the messed up pancakes for free. Pancakes were nice and fluffy. For that much pancake they really should add a blueberry compote if you ask for blueberry pancakes. Good coffee. Not the most innovative menu but what they do they do very well. Will definitely go back. VERY COVID FRIENDLY!! SAFE TO EAT INSIDE AND THEY HAVE AN OUTDOOR TENT!!

Okayyyyyyyyyyyyyy........ my husband said “watch how big the pancakes are”......... My husband suggested this place instead of the big chain commercialized spot. He said he used to come here from time to time and it never disappoints. So off we go! We went around lunch time, not too busy. We can sit anywhere, so we chose the closest booth which looked like whoever was seating there just left because you can still see mini crumbs on the table. The server came over with a rag to clean and set up our table. You know what I love??? The smell of actual cleaning products being used on the table, not just nasty still water from a bucket - lol 😂 let me stop being a germaphobe cuz its not that serious, but FYI I like the fact my table is somewhat disinfected. Menu is easy to read & to order from. Enough menu option for everyone. Quick service! Lovely & attentive server. Back to pancakes - HOLY MOLLY DOLLY! That thing was huge! Wowza! Overall, this is a great place to get a lovely breakfast or lunch. Parking is free. Great service, great people. They take credit / debit, not sure if there’s a limit. Must try the fluffy, yummy, holy molly huge pancakes.
