Part pizza shop, part Italian restaurant- this place does not know what it wants to be, but does both exceedingly well.
Great food, great servers and fair prices makes this a must stop while in the area.

My husband and I attended Stony Brook for undergrad and grad school. While we were in college we ate here every Friday night! We recently came back to campus and stopped for a Large Pizza! 17 years later for us and it has remained the absolute best pizza we have ever had. We brought 3 slices back to Rochester, NY for our kids, and they are now hooked! We can't wait to get back there, and when we do, this will be our first stop! Thank You for the wonderful food, best pizza ever, and amazing atmosphere!

Really nice place very friendly staff. I was in a rush as most of us are this time of year and the smell of the pizza in parking lot was calling me. I live farther out East but if I lived closer would come here regularly. Thanks for having basil on your grandma pizza this quick lunch really hit the spot.

The food at O Sole Mio is always great, but the real stand out at my last visit was the service. My waitress, the girl, was absolutely fantastic. She was upbeat, positive, knowledgeable about the menu, fast without having us feel rushed and overall a joy to have around! Like I said, the food is great, but the service we received from our waitress is what will make us return every time we want Italian food.

I recently catered an event and O Sole Mio was an absolute favorite. The Lobster Ravioli was totally gone before the end of the night it was so popular, and the Clams Casino was a huge hit as well. It's such a wonderful place that it always is a part of our big, catered parties, and it's a great place to dine in as well. Love O Sole Mio! Love the garlic knots!

Our server Manuel was polite and fun. I even ordered a meal by accident and told him this is not what I ordered. He didn't know what to do because I did order it. Which, I realized it was me who made the mistake. Because of this, I actually had two foods I had never ordered before, and it was good. Proves they have great food and excellent service to me. Enjoy this restaurant.

Great creamy and flavourful pasta here! Order Farfalle con Gamberi and pasta carbonara, loved it! The pasta came with breads and salad. It was an amazing dining experience.

You will have to wait in line, but it moves pretty fast. There are no prices for the pizza on the menu, so you will need to ask. As for the wait time, it is pretty short. Just note the size of the pizza, pasta, sandwiches, and pastries. The portion size was larger than I had expected, but it is apparently common for Long Island. My advice, when ordering, make sure you know how big the food are first.

Stopped by for lunch and were seated immediately and served bread. Tables were tight but hand sanitizers were on our table. Server very friendly. Extensive menu hard to choose. Our pastas were delicious and more than enough, we got to go bags. Decor was fun and ample parking. Desserts looked amazing but were too full to try. But will next time
