Island Cafe

I used to wouldn't go anywhere else but here for my Jamaican food but over the past year they have declined in many areas. My orders have less food in them but with higher price I have recently found another location closer to my home with a lesser price more food and taste great. I wish this business the best but it's not for me anymore.

Recently visited and restaurant looks CLOSED. I attempted several times and contacted them in hopes of someone answering. I guess they have gone out of business and haven’t updated information. Don’t waste your time driving here! I’ll have to find a new Jamaican spot as it seems every since Covid this spot declined

Food is definitely full of flavor with fresh ingredients. We had curry chicken and beef stew. Meat is fall of the bone soft. Both of these dishes are lightly spicy but just enough to tickle taste buds. Their is schnitzel like ingredient in soup was not fully cooked so it is like a dried chewy overnight bread. I have on good authority from a jamaican, food here is very close to the home cook meal. At the same time, the health inspection report of low B means lot improvement in prep is needed.
