Boston Market

I've been eating at Boston Markets since I was a kid. Of course I read the reviews but decided I was going to try this Boston Market in Stone Mountain, GA. I'm not sure why people are so tough on these reviews. Boston Market in general are losing business, and closing their doors due to "poor quality reviews". However, this place wasn't busy. Food was hot. Chicken was delicious. Staff was extremely friendly. If you enjoy Boston Market as much as I do. Eat here! :)

Well, we won’t do that twice. I ordered the large meatloaf with mashed potatoes, spinach, and a drink. My husband ordered 1/2 chicken, macaroni and cheese, spinach, and a drink. It was over $30.00. About the only thing good about the meal was the drinks. My meatloaf tasted like and had the texture of sliced dog food. Good thing because my dog will be getting my leftovers. The potatoes were mediocre, the spinach was good, and the gravy was definitely out of a can. My husband’s chicken was small for 1/2 chicken and so dry he couldn’t eat it - and that man loves chicken. The macaroni and cheese was okay but he has had better, the spinach was too cold for him, and his bread was dry. The only redeeming thing about the entire meal was the entertainment of a frustrated customer demanding his money back because he felt he was overcharged. They wouldn’t come off with what they charged him, so he wanted a full refund. Sad because he said he was a regular customer. I don’t think he will be back either. I was a good show though.

I'm only leaving two stars because we came in the night of 6/24/22 at 9pm and the curly hair girl working the register had an attitude and didn't know how to listen or was mentally challenged. She was so worried about getting off work that she wasn't listening or taking the orders correctly so not only did we have to keep repeating ourselves but the order was still wrong. We waited on an extra side and she left work and didn't relay to the staff that we were waiting on extra food. She even left someone waiting at the counter who hadn't even ordered yet. There were three other guys working tonight and they were doing great, replacing all the food with hot food. One guy with the hat that was working the front with her had the best manners, attitude, and humor while we waited.

Depends on what your Boston Market you go to the food can be really dry and dull. This one isn't all that great. I've been to another one that was a little bit better. If you know one that fits your taste buds best stick with it! And then the cornbread I think they are using jiffy! Way to sweep yes I used to eat Jiffy back in the day but now it just does not taste the same. Homemade is better!:-)

I have never disliked Boston market..I looked so foward to eating there....however.... the store was in disrepair...water stains in the ceiling. Tiles missing.. Lights broken. A bottle of dawn with no lid on it in the bathroom for soap. There was paper towels. T he bathroom was Ok. We ordered 4 meals.. The Mac and cheese was good and ribs were good. The meatloaf was rubbery and cold.. the corn and vegetables were old and soggy. The creamed spinach tasted off. The corn bread was good it was cold but soft. The salad had brown lettuce and 1 whole cruton and 2 half crutons. T he girl in front did not seem to know what to do, but was trying. I have never been to a Boston Market that was run like this. I have been too many in florida. They may have just been having a bad night. I hope so..It is a holiday weekend.
