Review Mad D's - Stone Harbor

So glad I found this spot! Delicious cheesesteaks AND homemade water ice! I really missed water ice from my Philly days. The pineapple one is amazing, so refreshing! Defintiely get the cheesesteak with american cheese! The business owner is super kind and accommodating. I wanted to make sure they would do curbside pick up or delivery since we have a little guy under 2 that can't wear a mask and he responded pretty quickly on Instagram and apologized if it took him too long (wasn't at all!) He cares about his customers and the quality of his food. I wish I had more pics, but we ate everything so fast!

They had an average Italian sub. I heard their tuna is very good. Typical high prices which are everywhere in Stone Harbor. Beware cash only.

Killer steaks! I got chicken wit add mushrooms and onions, my wife git hers on lettuce. Both were fantastic! Been coming to Avalon for years and just never made the connection. We know now!

One of the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had. They make probably the best Italian hoagie period.

Getting food at Mad Ds is summer tradition. Not only is the food delicious, every time we go it the services is from the heart. I always look for the freshest food and it never disappoints! The cheese steaks are family favorite. So so yummy I’m already craving it again!

The homemaid water ice is ten times better than Rita’s! Also my whole family split a couple different cheese steaks and hoagies and we all agreed they were the best sandwiches we have ever had!! These people really have got it going on and the staff made us feel right at home!

Easily the most underrated sandwich shop on 7mi island. I can't wait to grab some FRESH sandwiches this summer. Their cheesesteaks are top teir, compare them with any of your favorite Philly cheesesteaks. Great outdoor seating. Staff is super friendly. Prices are probably the best on the island when looking at value for your $. Breakfast sandwiches are great too. MAD D'S FOR THE WIN

This place is the Bomb and the place to go if you are anywhere near Stone Harbor ... Hands down the best Cheesteak I ever had !!!! Everything on their menu is excellent and has very family friendly environment with great service and low prices MADD Ds is a MUST GO !!!

My wife and I were there 2 times this summer.We are from South Philly and we know what a real cheesesteak and water ice is all about.This place exceeded our expectations on both fronts.In philly the big names are living on their reputations and giving you a low end product.The water ice is worse because they are buying low end product already made.Everything at Mad D's is made fresh to order.They make their own water ice in house and small batches so you know your not eating frozen product from who knows when.The place is super clean and the service is awesome.Try coming to big name steak place in philly if you don't know what you want when you get up to window they throw you to the back of the line.

The gelati's are delicious! Their homemade water ice goes perfectly with soft serve. They even put a candy topping!
