Review Mack's Pizza - Stone Harbor

We have been coming to Mack’s for years! They have the perfect pizza! Crust is extremely thin and has both a nice crunch and satisfying chew. There is a proper ratio of sauce to cheese, and the sauce has a both and savory flavor. Our whole family loves it and it is such a wonderful treat! We had it multiple times this summer and already looking forward to next season😊❤️

I always feel like I was missing something when we visited Stone Harbor without going to Mack's Pizza. Their pizza is floppy and kinda tastes like a Celeste frozen pizza. But, I still like it. They have no dairy free options.

Pizza shop competition is fierce. There are pizza shops in every big city and every small town. Some are good, some are bad. Now imagine a pizza shop that is using the same recipe for 70 years. Well now you found it. Simply the Best Jersey style pizza you will ever have.

Best pizza on the island - better than all avalon options. Meets out too high New York pizza standards. Always pleased with Macks!!!

LOVE this pizza place in Stone Harbor! One of the best cheese pizzas I have ever had! I love just getting the plain but they have so many other types to choose from. Service is also really good!

We were headed home from the shore and drove by this place and decided to stop and get a pizza. We ordered and it was delivered to our car. It was hot and delicious!

Absolutely loved the pizza, but young thing at the counter seemed to be a short little snot towards a customer who admitted she has never dined at that establishment before. She also should explain things better to customers. I had no idea I was to clean off my plates from my table after eating until I happened to think of it once finished, and then gave a quick look around the room to see if there was a spot the customers should do so - and there was.

Go For The Breakfast We went to Mack’s early one day (9:30am) and were told they were only serving breakfast. The food has always been great with quick and attentive service. However, their new breakfast pizza was phenomenal. They also had cinnamon twist bites which our kids loved. Do yourself a favor, skip the other spot’s overrated, generic breakfast sandwich or the always overpriced pancake places and try one of Mack’s delicious breakfast pies instead. As a bonus, the coffee they service is some of the best on the island and blows whatever swill they’re serving at your hotel out of the water.

Six of us stopped for dinner and all agreed, Mack’s pizza is amazing!! Being honest, pizza places generally disappoint me. However, Mack’s is a casual place with great/friendly staff and fabulous pizza! The pizza had great sauce, crispy/yummy crust and lots of toppings making a perfect combination. We got the Tram Car (pepperoni, sausage and meatball) for the meat eaters and a Sunburn (sun dried tomato’s, mushrooms and extra cheese) for the vegetarians. I’m a meat eater but had to say that both were GREAT!! End of the day, I highly recommend and must assume the few bad reviews were from competitors that are unable to keep up with Mack’s VERY high standards.

We had heard of Mack’s before we went to Avalon and were looking forward to trying it, especially our kids. When we got there, they were unexpectedly closed to the public because they were about to host a wedding reception. When they saw our kids were disappointed they graciously made a spot for us in the restaurant despite being super busy prepping for the reception that was due to begin in less than an hour. This made our kids day! The cook gave our kids some pizza dough to play with. The staff were super nice and served us quickly. On top of all this the pizza and the Caesar salad were awesome. Would highly recommend and we will be back every time we are in Avalon. Thanks Mack’s for your kindness and for the great memory for our kids!

Pizza came out quick and was so delicious. You can also order by the slice. Was skeptical about jersey pizza being good since iam from new york but it was great. We even came back a second time. Waitresses were friendly and attentive. We love macks!

Been going to Macks for maybe 10 years now. Never disappoints. Fresh / Tasty pizza and made FAST !! On the pricey side but worth it for the quality and speed.
