Review The Watering Hull - Stone Harbor

I wanted something a little different and checked out The Watering Hull. They did NOT disappoint! Stopped in for a late lunch, ordered crab Rangoon, for appetizers, Hull punch AMAZING, MAHI MAHI taco.❤️ Service was good, good vibes, food came out timely fashion. Honestly, it felt like we were back in the Bahamas having a bit to eat. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Really amazing spot in stone harbor. Tucked away upstairs, this place has great drinks, amazing atmosphere and solid menu. Kids loved the cheeseburger and Mac n cheese (the real kind). We go for the fish tacos crab Rangoon and strawberry margaritas

Great place! We had the crab Rangoons and fresh oysters to start. Both were very tasty. We then had the mahi mahi tacos which were phenomenal! The Hull burger was also very good. The only downside was the wait for the food. We got the apps quickly then waited for quite some time for our entrees. Luckily the drinks are great and they have a nice beer menu

Great place for apps and drinks. Staff is always friendly, courteous and efficient. Food menu is pretty good offering interesting options beyond the standard beach fare of burgers and pizza. Poke bowls are one of my favorites. Ingredients are always fresh. Good rotating tap selection. They often have one of favorite beers , Maine Lunch, available. Not surprisingly, it gets crowded in the summer. Usually worth the wait thought. They are open late into the fall. It is a great spot for a fall Saturday afternoon! If the weather is nice the big overhead doors are open. It is usually easy to get a seat at the bar and lots of TVs to watch college football.

No Reservation | Gets busy after 6:30 pm Our group had a wonderful time there. Their menu is not too big but has good choices of appetizers, tacos, seafood and other Entrees. I enjoyed the chickens wings with Honey BBQ sauce (they make the sauce themself), the shrimp taco was juicy, the mahi mahi tacos have mango toppings, which is amazing. They have a bar and serve all kinds of drinks. There’s children menu as well.

Loved this spot… so pretty, clean, great Caribbean music and great food! My husband had the hull burger which was cooked perfectly and loaded w a lot of great toppings; I had the blackened mahi-mahi tacos which had great flavor. Would definitely recommend.

Visit for dinner after leaving the Cape May zoo and 5pm was perfect b/c soon after, it got busy. Great menu selections and attentive service! I ordered the Mahi Mahi tacos and chicken wings for my kid. Metered parking on the street or free parking lot 2 blocks away...AND there's a surcharge for paying w/a credit card! Bring cash to save some cash 😉

Seated us quickly even though they were very busy. Food came out quickly and hot, drinks were good. I had the habanero shrimp tacos they were good, but waaayyy spicy. So be warned. Friends had the poke bowls and they were delicious.

Absolutely delicious! And an awesome view - the owner is a great person as well. Make sure to make a stop here during your vacation - the blackened Mahi-Mahi sandwich, Hull burger and Tomato, Buffalo mozzarella and crab were amazing 👌👌

As you stroll through The Mall/Walk of Stone Harbor the atmosphere of this restaurant immediately grabs your attention. Sitting above the ground floor, the outdoor/porch seating provides prime mealtime ambiance. My wife and I were seated promptly and attended to regularly. In lieu of dinner rolls or bread, we were given plantain chips with sweet chili dipping sauce. Although it wasn't anything to write home about, it was nice to have something different from the usual. My wife ordered the Catch of the Day tacos and I ordered the Habanero Petite Shrimp tacos. Each plate came with 2, which gave us the opportunity to swap 1 for 1. Every taco was loaded with seafood and we enjoyed the spice on the shrimp. Both of us will be looking forward to our next meal at The Watering Hull.

Very good fish sandwich. Poke was sent back but handled professionally and very good service. Swapped poke for a salad. Waiter even tried the Poke and agreed it wasn't right. Good IPA on draft. Cool place. Update: Went again Aug 2018. Had mussels, Mahi—Mahi sandwich and salad. Sandwich could use a bit more flavor but still very good. Six point Resin on draft.

It's really nice inside and the service was great and friendly. My pork tacos were salty. The shellfish soup was very good.

Hidden in a walk thru mall off main drag this second floor spot offers an all around excellent experience. Nautical decor, friendly efficient staff and many tasty seafood and bar like eats. Reasonably priced for the area.

Fish tacos were excellent and what they give for the price is a good meal. Crab burger was good as well! Great service easy atmosphere!

Friendly staff, tasty food with a Caribbean flare, in a fun atmosphere. The crab cakes, salmon, fries, beans and rice were all good. Reasonable drink and food prices. Makes for a good value in Stone Harbor. We will be back.

Attentive staff, great atmosphere, and even better food! Try the conch fritters ( they'll rival the ones you'll get in the Florida keys) and the Mahi tacos. Delicious!

Great atmosphere & decor. My meal was delicious, the plating was gorgeous! I gave 4 stars for two reasons. One I felt a bread of sorts should be offered to the table & secondly our waitress was entirely too zealous. She was constantly clearing plates, some we weren't even done with. I had to put my hand over one at one point. She made me feel like I had to rush to clear my plate before she took it away. I will return but hopefully not with that server for my table.

Food, drinks, decor, and service was spot on. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great meal in Stone Harbor.

Just had a wonderful lunch at The Watering Hull. My son, visiting from Florida, said his Chicken sandwich was one of the best he's ever had. The sweet potato fries are to die for. The fish in the fish tacos was done to perfection! Excellent meal!

Great view, good food, wait staff could have been better. Took me forever to get a refill on my beer

Stumbled upon this place when we were out shopping one day. The food and the service was so goo we came back on a Friday night. Busy but the wait was not too long especially with a glass off Flor De Cana 12. The food and service were great again and can't wait to come back.

Nice place. Fast service, food was awesome. Reasonable price. We recommended this place to everybody.

Service was poor! Ordered 1/2 dozen raw bar oysters, brought 1 dozen. Had to wait at least 10 minutes to get waitresses attention. I alerted them that I only ordered 6. They then brought my plate back to the kitchen and took 6 off. Now, mind you, I didn't touch any of them, but how do they know that before serving the other 6 to someone else. Then, not even finished eating my 6 oysters, and they try to clear my appetizer plate while I'm still eating and place down, my all to soon dinner, right in front of me. Felt rushed and annoyed. Food was average. Will not be returning.
