Super cheap here (multiple dishes are around 9.5) and the food is ok and the service is fast! The Kung Pao chicken is a little spicy but tastes good. I can't believe $9.5 can get a big plate at the first place πŸ˜‚. I won't recommend two mushrooms beef because they are covered by other vegetables and I only find a little mushrooms and beef.πŸ˜…

The place is small, many people order for to go. The service is fast, taste is ok and quite cheap. The people are nice and friendly.

This place is really good (I recommend the ants crawling tree). The service is always nice and they are very generous with the portions. Nothing really bad to say just that even though the service is nice, they do take a bit to get back to you but it's not a problem for me.

Everything here is good, service is quick, prices reasonable. They pack the container when you order fried rice with the lunch specials.

A Hole In The Wall does Not Begin to Describe China Village Restaurant in Stockton! Drove 4-1/2 hours from L.A. to pay a visit to a friend in need. Since I'm here, I may as well try some Local Cuisines, wouldn't you say? Hopefully the reviews I've read about China Village are accurate, so that my 7 minute walk from my Airbnb should pay off Big Dividends. Sat down and ordered randomly from the menu. Went with the Shrimp Chow Mein, BBQ Pork Fried Rice, Deep Fried Unknown Boneless, Skinless Fish, Hunan Beef and a Large Wor Wonton Soup. Think that's enough for 1? Let's go! First dish arrived minutes after ordering. The Wor Wonton is Phenomenal. Slowly things are trickling in so I will put this review on the back burner for a moment and finish it once I'm done.... Well, that was Perhaps the Most Enjoyable meal I've had in Stockton, Ever. The Good: Almost Everything! Actually I Enjoyed the Entire Meal!! The only thing I was concerned about was when I ordered the Deep Fried Fish. As you can see in the pics, they came looking like fish sticks or more like fried calamari (to me). However they were Deelicious. After hours of gorging, I still had enough to feed a Small Army. Especially when I got the check. This was easily a $75-$100+ meal in L.A. I paid almost half that!! China Village has a New Customer, for Life!
