Took the father in-law here for the first time. We have been here more then we can count. And it is always so amazing and employee’s never let us down. Always a smile and helpful throughout the whole time!!! Father will definitely go back again for next meal!!

Awesome! I have fallen in love with the BBQ sauce. The meat is fresh and ideal. We had a sweet and friendly server. The only thing we didn't really enjoy was the Mac and cheese. It had a grainy texture to it that we couldn't place and did not enjoy. However, this place is a perfect date night stop.

Brisket was plenty marbled, cooked just right with a firm bite. The mild sauce was plenty smoky, a little sweet with good flavor. Big portion of warm corn bread was sweet & fluffy served w honey & butter. Slaw was refreshing.

Geneva waited on me at the bar, and was super friendly and a great waitress/bartender!! I ordered the two meat combo with brisket and Jalapeño/cheese sausage, both were excellent. So was the spicy barbecue sauce. I also tried a cup of the green chili and it was super delicious! Hope to come back soon.

To start off : I’m not local, we stayed the night in sterling from a road trip and tried this place out.
The turkey breast was amazing, however it came out luke warm and my brisket was cold and mediocre. (I got the 2 meat combo) The fried okra & pickles were pretty good. Their Mac n cheese , not so much. Not much flavor. The cornbread was okay but nothing special, kinda dry. Honestly famous Dave’s has better cornbread. The coleslaw was good and my husband said his ribs were pretty decent. The service wasn’t great either. We placed an order for pickles and okra. They brought us pickles and corn fritters when we nicely said we didn’t order the corn fritters but the okra instead of fixing the mistake the waitress argued with us. In the end we got our okra but at that point I was about to be like just forget it. They weren’t very busy yet took a very long time for everything (except seating but you seat yourselves lol) , including bringing us drinks.
We do road trips often and when we come to sterling we won’t be coming back here.

Walking in you are greeted with the smell of smoked meats which starts the salivary glands in full gear. The building was an old car dealership or some such, ideal decor. Our waitress Geneva was a doll, the perfect waitress, she even knew when to let us chew and swallow lol. I had a tough time choosing from so many ideal selections, but I recommend the appetizers: corn fritters, fried okra and fried pickles (no judgement allowed they were delicious). My sister had a green Chile burger, she was very pleased. My husband had the brisket sandwich with a side of Mac & cheese, and since I couldn't pick just one I had the two item combo with their baby back ribs and brisket. I have to mention their sweet potato fries. Not many restaurants get these crispy or even palatable. Hot Spot got it perfect. We unfortunately did not have room for dessert. We are going to make this our regular haunt.
