Mannino's Bakery

We got our wedding cake through Mannino's and it was delicious! The look was exactly what we asked for. The butter cream was light not too overly sweet. The cassata layer was a huge hit and the wife and I loved the layer of chocolate and raspberry. The delivery was on time and everyone who works there is friendly and happy to help. We highly recommend Mannino's Bakery for all occasions!

I recently photographed a wedding where Mannino's Bakery created a custom cake for the bride and groom and it was the most beautiful cake I had ever seen...and as a wedding photographer, I see a lot!! It had gorgeous white flowers made out of icing, and unlike many wedding cakes, the frosting was thick and soft when the bride and groom cut into it! Aside from their amazing cake, I was also impressed that Mannino's allowed the clients to use one of their beautiful cake stands - the presentation to the guests and for the photos was fabulous! I will definitely be recommending future clients to Mannino's for their wedding cake!

I went in looking for suggestions for a Italian Cookie tray for a funeral, They took over with suggestions and ideas, although I was going to tray it myself they offered to do it for me on the spot, they couldn't have been kinder and more helpful. Although they don't need the praise from me because they are so well established I will always recommend Mannion's for their find cakes and cookies etc but especially for the kindness and thoughtfulness they showed me after losing a loved one. Thank You to all the fine staff that sad day for me!!

I had a small cupcake at a funeral reception thought it was really good, so decided to go to the actual bakery and try more of the items. I found them to be overpriced, very sweet to the point that you felt every sugar grain it was gritty, the cake was dry and stale. I also got a canoli was disappointed with the cream filling had no chocolate chips and it was runny, the shell tasted oily. Over all I was disappointed and most likely will not return

Although the family has been here many times over the years, sometimes we forget about it. Yet we were traveling home late on a Friday Afternoon 2 weeks ago and invited company over for Dessert , with no dessert at home @5PM I was scrambling for what bakery would have a good selection on my way home from the Henry Ford towards Shelby Township ( is Mannino's Open past 5pm?) They sure were til 7pm They had a huge variety of cakes and pies available, including cassatta cakes (Vanilla/Yellow or Chocolate ) Plus lots of cookies and fruit pies Plus Snickers, Chocolate Cream and Seduction I chose the chocolate cream and it was under $10 We shared it with our company and we were all blown away , it exceeded all the local pies that are over $18 Yum Yum In our tum tum. Fast Forward to today 3/27/21 and we are all over a cherry pie, a cassatta cupcake and a Napoleon The Napoleon will steal the show. Note the place is always well staffed with friendly helpers and they have stock even late on a Friday If your expecting friends and want to spoil them, well here you go

Friendly staff on a busy Mother's Day morning helped me get one of the most luxurious and delicious cheesecakes we've ever tasted, and I couldn't help getting fresh pastries and pizza dough as well. Everything was yummy and the prices were totally reasonable. Already looking forward to a repeat on Father's Day!
