Last night, we went to Laundry to celebrate our 21st anniversary and we had a truly fantastic experience! First off, we were met at the door and JJ knew who we were and really started our night off great by wishing us a happy anniversary and letting everyone at the bar know it was our special day. We sat at the bar for some cocktails during happy hour along with some appetizers. First, the drink, Lisa got their house Pinot Noir which was a great wine and I got an apple martini which was so not appletini-like it was awesome! Not a sweet apple drink, but a wonderful martini with a sublime apple undertone. Drew is an awesome bartender and I could probably sit and talk with him over drinks for a long time. His picks for our appetizers were perfect. Kale Salad and Pow Pow Shrimp. Both were exceptional and flavorful and I'd highly recommend them! After our first round and appetizers, we moved on to our table which was an intimate and isolated table with the perfect atmosphere for our special day. For dinner, we kinda turned everything over to Luke to make our choices for us as we heard from a former employee, Jen, that it can make for an excellent evening. We're pretty open to everything, so this was going to be fun. Our only request was the Mac & Cheese with Blue Crab & Green Chilies, which was excellent and was part of our first course. He paired it with blistered shishito peppers which were as addictive as potato chips due in part to their smoked salt. The next course was one of their specials, lamb & beef meatballs. They were flavorful and tender and truly spectacular. The sauce was excellent and nit too overwhelming. Our next round of excellent cocktails were brought over by Drew, and they were perfect! These were followed in short order by our next course which I was hesitant about when it was brought to the table. Tempura Battered Artichoke Hearts with charred lemon. I was hesitant because I'm usually not a big artichoke fan, but damn was I way off the mark. These were awesome and the lemon squeezed over the top made a wonderful compliment to the smooth and perfectly cooked artichokes. At this point, we pretty much had to throw in the towel as we were getting pretty full and still wanted to go out for ice-cream. JJ & Luke surprised us with a special chocolate desert which was a wonderful cap to our truly awesome meal. Thanks for a wonderful and special evening! The residents and visitors of Steamboat Springs are damn lucky to have such an awesome restaurant at their disposal!

The Laundry hosted our group of 40 and they did NOT skip a beat! The family style dining was perfect for our group and the food was outstanding! Their hand-crafted cocktails are made with love. Crowd favorite was the #OldForester Mango Manhattan! Great job, Laundry Crew!

Exceptional doesn't even begin to describe the finely skilled cook of my pig roast. The meal came with a Carolina BBQ sauce under as a base to this awesome meal! I will be back and recommending this place to anyone and everyone! Thank you!

This is one of our favorite restaurants in steamboat! The fiery margarita is awesome, we love the brussel sprout hash, the shishito peppers, the beef brisket, basically everything here is delicious. Go!!!

Great atmosphere, interesting cocktails set the stage for an amazing variety of small plate dishes. Don’t miss the hash or Mac and cheese.

In Steamboat? Don't miss the Laundry. Not your typical Tapas...generally larger plates that share well... problem is, it's so hard to decide! The Laundry has had great reviews from both National Geographic and the New York Times. This is the best restaurant in Colorado. Chef Nick Winden, from Fort Collins, blows us away with his culinary magic. It is obvious that Nick and his staff, along with the front of the house, LOVE what they are doing and it shows!

Okay this place is on the pricey side. BUT! Their bartenders Drew and Michael make it. The Kentucky Fall cocktail is outstanding as is the meat and cheese board. This place is a must every time we visit Steamboat!

Definitely not the typical steamboat restaurant, it’s very busy and fast paced. The conversations buzzing and the place filled to the brim give it a lively feel. But once you have the food you can understand why it’s always so busy! We ordered the bison carpaccio and the flavors were the perfect mix!!!! The wagyu was good, but it still could of used more seasoning. Overall great place to eat for dinner and to have conversation.

Dude, you get one picture 😂….why? …. Because I was so busy eating delicious food that your amazing staff kept bringing, that there was no time for pictures. By far one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had in Steamboat. Give it up to the kitchen and the staff for an amazing meal. Thank you so much.

My wife and I just had drinks, dinner and desert here last Saturday. The food was amazing, the drinks were excellent, the service was spectacular and the desert was to die for (photo included for drools). I would highly recommend this spot to anyone in the area looking for a great meal with great ambiance.

We had a delicious meal at Laundry! We loved every small plate we got, & the cocktails were perfect too. The ambiance was lovely.. an umbrella covered table by a creek & an attentive waiter who knew the food. The perfect ending was the peanut butter desert. 😍This was our first time here but not the last for sure! Highly Recommend !

I recently visited The Laundry in Steamboat with a large party. We were lucky to have Nevin as our waiter. Our large party meant we could try every tapas on the menu. That was incredible. We enjoyed every single one. We allowed Nevin to select the ingredients for two charcuterie boards. He did not disappoint. Nevin has absolute passion and knowledge about Laundry’s menu and wine pairing. His recommendations were spot on. Our experience was memorable and decadent. Tell Nevin hi for me when you visit.

Mostly great food and service. Lacked the hospitality I have come to expect from the industry. Nice atmosphere; outdoor seating. Amazing plates; Crispy Potatoes (truffle oil- YUM), Tasso wrapped asparagus on a delicious nut and grain base, local greens salad in this visit had unique delicious pairings including a cream corn base, tomato, cucumber and fresh nectarines. Brussels we’re not the best I’ve had. Most definitely worth the stop.

Loved the food. Well worth it. We brought 3 kids and they were very accommodating. Peanutbutter dessert was not too sweet. This place is a must. Make your reservations early. We saw several people turned away because they hadn't reserved a table.
