Review Subway - Staten Island

This place, is, well, meh. Not the greatest, but it's serviceable. But there are better options for a subway out there. The staff, well it depends. Sometimes you get decent people, but more often than not people are super disrespectful. There are better options--for a cold-cut sandwich or chicken, there's an Italian salumeria that's leagues better, and the staff is mom and pop (kind of, but it has that feel) right next door. So save yourself the hassle. These people are miserable that work at these places. And there are better deals on food elsewhere.

The guy who works there keep talking and almost spitting on the food. At least he should wear a mask or stop talking while preparing food. It's disgusting.

10.40 pm and the door was locked & the guy was still inside. Sign shows closing time 11 pm. Very bad & he was rude too

Lowered my rating to a 4 because they are always supposedly out of veggie patties - depending upon who is at the counter. Some of them will go to the freezer and a couple of them will just say "we're out." It's happened to me several times so I will no longer frequent this particular location.

The atmosphere is decent. The sandwiches are decent as well, however, there is one concern I have with the bread. Usually, when I eat the top of bread, similar to Subway's, like a BBQ hamburger bun, the crust doesn't feel slightly brittle unless it is old, which leads me to believe that this Subway location leaves their bread sitting for a little too long. But honestly, I get where Subway is coming from, because it would cost more to replace the bread at a sooner date. And it's not like it is SUPER stale either, or moldy or anything. Nope, it's just slightly stale, which I don't even think I have thought about till now, though it is a possibility. Plenty of seating too, about 6-9 chairs. And like some restaurants, they let you look at them putting the bread in the oven, and watch it sit in the heat to pass the time. Good place, cant think of anything negative about it, other than maybe the stale bread, but that is only a slight possibility. But of course, if you have some money left in your pocket, and can't think of anything to spend it on for this location, then maybe spend it on the bread quality. I mean, I personally know it's safe to eat, but some people are hesitant to eat at fast food places, and in their defense, there are stories from people who nearly lost their lives to eating from fast food places. But again, I don't think that's really ever been a concern with Subway, at least not in this thread.

This has to be a joke... Ordered from this restaurant through Uber Eats, the bread was at least 2 weeks old. The hard flakes from the bread kept dropping off. The cookie was comparable to a brick. The person simply ran past go, when making my sandwich, and never looked back to include the requested toppings. The order was delivered in a subway pick up bag in the rain. Just wow. What has the pandemic done to mindset of this business ? Just horrible. I can’t even trust the person who made this order or their judgement ! P.S. it’s time to throw away the old bread, along with the cookies !

I live across the street from this location and have been going there for years with no problem, in fact the best worker they ever had was a great guy named Info, since Info left the service has been down hill. Tonight I was told I had no points on my subway card when I've been saving points for the past 2 months. But this isn't the only problem, the kid that's been working there for the past few weeks and was there tonight makes a terrible sandwich, and leaves you to bag your stuff? Who the hell does that, it happens every single time, buy drinks and you have to beg him for a cup holder.. Yea I sound crazy but yo, this kid has been the worst in 20 years...

I cant even pick up my own order. Long story short, I used the Subway app order food and pay with apple pay. By the time i arrived to the place to pick up. Staff told me I cant pick up due to differrent Visa card number. I told him i used apple pay and he still refuse to hand me my FOOD which I PAY FOR.
