Review Alba International Food - Staten Island

The bread was so soft so fresh! I really appreciate the small plate they give with feta cheese, garnished with fresh parsley and a side of black olive and adjavar. Also the plate of food I had was delicious!!! So good so fresh!! It’s a nice and cozy spot to eat and I highly recommend. Staff was so kind. My family and I really enjoy this place.

For Albanian food , nobody can compete with this guys, very cozy and warm ambient. The owner is very friendly and always try to suggest you nice combination of their dishes.

Readers beware ask for prices before you eat from this place . I ate borek from this place 3-4 times past 3-4 months and was charged 20$ for the pie . We ate trilece and had a drink and when I checked my bank account I saw I got charged 31$ I called the( Skinny blonde guy) next day . I said I think you charged me for 2 Tricele at 4$ each we ate only one ,( he was also talking on the phone when he rang us up) he was was rude on the phone and said The price went up to 24$ for borek pie (which was also dry and tasted different) I’m like we just ate a month ago he says the price went up you should have asked !! Ok good bye and hangs up the phone on me . Horrible customer service Lying and rudeness will not get you anywhere .

I asked them if the meat is halal and the guy said he really doesn’t know and doesn’t want to mislead us, but they don’t sell pork.
