Review Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Staten Island

I never tried this restaurant until today and ordered through a delivery app. When I received my delivery I noticed half my order was missing! The Flatbread chicken club sandwich was ok but kind of small and not very filling. The mango smoothie was pretty good though. I'm not sure if I'll ever order from this place again because my 1st experience was bad....

Awesome place for morning goers. 7am to 9am its 50% off. U can get a wrap and smootie for less than 6 bucks. The food is great and smoothies taste amazing too. I've always received great service. Much better than a deli or fast food chain. Also sign up for groupon and get 30% back on every purchase from tropical smootie. Just save ur card on groupon, claim the deal on groupon. Once u use your card u will get a email to let you know what u saved.

I'd only previously tried Tropical Smoothie Cafe out in Florida, years ago, but I was hooked. Learning that there was one here was great news. We've been relying on it quite often for lunch, as we've been in the area quite often. The smoothie selection is quite impressive, as are the selections of wraps, sandwiches, flatbreads and quesadillas. We've tried an assortment of smoothies from the menu and they are always delicious. The food selection is always great, as well. I prefer the quesadillas, most recently, because they put them on the grill and you're guaranteed a hot quesadilla with melted cheese. The fruity smoothies are my go-to, though I try a different flavor every time we visit. The staff is friendly and they work hard to get your food to you quickly, which is greatly appreciated.

Very clean and bright. The staff is really friendly. Prices are decent. Wraps are delicious!!! I liked the kale/apple slaw as a side.

Decent enough place. Delivery is slways fast & food is fresh. Not crazy about the smoothies because I found the ones I've tried to be overly sweet. I'm not sure if they add sweetener to them, but I don't think fruit smoothies need any extra sweetening. I do like their wraps. I've tried a few different ones and they were all fresh & very tasty. I will continue to order wraps from here because I do really like them. Portions are good & prices are very reasonable. I would recommend this place.

Typically, Tropical Snoothie is a chain that I enjoy. However, seeing the poor performance of TS on Richmond Ave Staten Island left me with disappointment. I received a text stating that my order was ready for pick up. Once there, the crew members didn't approach me immediately. I waited patiently before asking about my order. While standing by the counter, I saw that they were not making smoothies properly- they were crafting smoothies with a bare minimal amount of fresh fruit. Mostly, their smoothies contain ice and water. Such was not the case for other Tropical Smoothies that I have been to. The crew members were not as organized with online orders- I had to detail that; "Yes this is the TS that I placed an order with." It took them about ten minutes to find my order. The wait time for disorganization was not as appalling as their poor attention to detail with smoothies. People pay good money for a healthy choice of food. Additionally, my sister found a piece of sour cheese in her quesadilla. Another notion for this review. Overall, a sad excuse for managing a Tropical Smoothie.

Always order my mango magic with a chicken pesto and a banana. Always fresh and the food is good.

I only recently discovered this place and I really love it. I've tried a few different smoothies and they're all delicious and I'm obsessed with the chicken pesto sandwich. Today was my first time getting a not-so-great smoothie. I got the new Guava Margarita smoothie which comes with lime. Instead of peeling the lime or just putting in the juice, they ground up the lime WITH the peel. It left nasty, crunchy chunks of lime peel. It's inedible. I tried to call them when I got home to mention the issue and no one answered. Also, only one staff member was wearing a mask and most of the customers weren't wearing masks either. Something to consider before ordering at the counter. Next time I will order for pick up to avoid people as well as make sure there aren't any peels in my smoothie.

Great little place....the food is great!! Never liked smoothies til I went to Tropical Smoothie....they are really good!! Friendly staff.....Mason makes the best wraps!

I’ve been here many times. Each time I get the island green and each time it tastes different. Unfortunately, it’s been more negative than positive. Sometimes I have to go back just to have them remake the smoothie, otherwise it just tastes like water and ice. It’s a great place and a great alternative for Staten Island but I just wish there was consistency in their smoothies. If something tastes to much like water or ice, go back and have them remake it.

Since I found out about Tropical Smoothie, I don't go to any other place on the Island. They got me locked in as a mainstream customer.

Let me see the staff there very friendly and helpful and is clean.... Love there healthy smoothies, there sandwiches, salads, cookie, and the chips so happy they’re in SI now. Try you’ll like it!!! Bon appetite !!!!
