Review Yum Yum Chinese Restaurant - Staten Island

During the pandemic the prices went up and the food went down. Also the potion sizes became smaller and food quality poorer. What is the problem here? The food at Yum Yum use to be really good. Now the food is quickly declining. Today I place an order over the phone. Once I reached home I was very disappointed with the food. The food was not very tasteful. The Singapore noddles was dry with very little veggies and no pork in it. The Shrimp and broccoli the sauce was clumpy and the broccoli was was bad (bitter and wilted). I paid a pretty amount of money on this food just for it not to be the best quality or cooked with care. I don’t think I will be ordering from them again. Next time, I’ll get my food from Brooklyn or Manhattan. Because Staten Island just don’t seem to have the best Chinese food. If I’m wrong please direct me to a Chinese restaurant that’s excellent on the island. During the pandemic the prices went up and the food went down. Thai basil chicken from the lunch menu, very tasty, lots of veggies, perfect portion! Cash or credit, eat in or take out. This had zucchini, eggplant, onions and green peppers. I didn't want soup or soda so I asked to switch with a bottle of water instead, and they did! This is right in the Carvel plaza on Forest . Enjoy!

the previous order i used my DEBIT CARD, was not asked for I.D nor a signature, the next day (today 3/23) order again and they all of a sudden needed an I.D with signature. Make it make sense

Oh my god this place is one of the best Chinese-Pan Asian places I've ever had the pleasure to try. Their egg drop soup was really warm and flavorful, and their sesame chicken was delicious. It was still hot after delivery, and their packaging for the sauces and food was very professional. Definitely going to order here again.

Prok stemmed dumplings were fantastic. Pork fried rice had 2 peices of pork in the general tso's rice combo. ( regural combo not lunch combo). I had high Hope's for this place and will not order again from This location

Just tried it for the first time yesterday..... I'm not a huge Chinese food fan but this place blew me away. I had it yesterday and plan on ordering again today! The fried pork dumplings with the dipping sauce was in my dreams last night. The crab Rangoon was nothing like I had before, sweet and crisp to perfection. They also included a tea pack which i havent seen in delivery. I'm a huge fan. This has become my favorite restaurant and I'm not a big Chinese food fan. Yum yum is the perfect name.

They messed up my order. Would not refund me! Over charged me and then said to stop calling. We ordered one chicken lo mein and received two shrimp lo mein and was charged for them. I am allergic to shrimp! They did nothing about it. I had a friend pick it up because I had no car and they refused to fix their mistake! I will tell everyone to stay far away from this place!
