Friendly vibe and good food. Smells great inside. The fried chicken was juicy! The grilled chicken was dry like another reviewer has previously mentioned. I found both chickens to be heavy on the MSG otherwise I would visit more often. My only wish is that they would offer MSG-free options please or find alternative ways to season/flavor your chicken.

Doesnt look like much inside or out but don't be fooled. Food is excellent and plentiful. Three of us had ribs...smokey, meaty and cooked through but not dry. I had a mountain of crispy sweet tater fries, hubbs had rice ad beans he loved and the third wzs with salad...crisp and fresh. Fourth person had shrimp...and boy was I jealous...they were great! Lunch tomorrow is already looked forward to!

Best place, best price on forest ave. Brung it home once and everyone is hooked. The young woman at the counter is the best. I've had the ribs, chicken and the stews and everything is great.

i ate here for delivery once and i was appalled that the proportions are so off. i order the garlic shrimp whole order and i was given a little amount of coin sized shrimp, a large amount of garlic butter sauce, and two family sized trays of beans and fries. they definitely cheap out and it’s not worth the price.
