My Deli

Very friendly little deli that is conveniently open 24 hours. They have a decent selection of your every day needs along with a great selection of deli meats. They even still stuck with their 24 hour schedule during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic & still had toilet paper and soap the whole time lol. My one complaint would be to the ownership as the air-conditioning unit does not work. During the summer months it is hot as hell in there as a result, The cooking equipment and other stuff also makes it hotter, and I kind of feel bad for the employees that have to work in these conditions. Overall great store but the HVAC just needs servicing.

I was followed around the store by some guy in gym shorts and dirty sneakers tonight , as I grabbed a few sodas and milk. I thought I was going to be robbed since I had a 1500 dollar phone in my hand as well as my 3000 dollar MacBook just coming from shopping in the city so I had a shopping bag as well. Even when I went to exit after paying the guy in the dirty clothes walked near the door near me. I couldn’t imagine it being a worker that worked there in that clothing. Well anyways the cashier is always nice and kind

Food is bought in bulk, it is not fresh, possibly expired. For example, compare the taste of a frozen pizza purchased there to the taste of that same frozen pizza bought at a known grocery store like Pathmark, the one from Pathmark tastes a lot fresher. The items are priced higher compared to most delis. But people in that neighborhood will pay it because they don't have many other options unless they have a car to drive them elsewhere. When buying a sandwich at their deli, you'll be charged a different price, depending on who is making your sandwich.
