This week I decided to try this place. The Checkered cab limo out front always caught my attention passing by and figured I’d stop and give it a try. Well the food was amazing!! I had the BBQ chicken and BBQ Ribs with mashed potatoes. This place has the best BBQ food I’ve had in years. Their BBQ sauce is perfect and the meat was delicious. I highly recommend ordering from here. Especially if you enjoy BBQ food. You will not be disappointed.

I lived on this island most of my life and the food here is consistently tasty and honestly I’ve been eating their chicken so long it’s been years since I had it and I still taste nostalgia when I do. Something about Buffalo wings sports and movies is just perfect.

This place is amazing ,they had cater my daughters gender reveal, I live in bklyn ,they were on point with it all ,on time .and they didn't leave anything out from plates ,forks,knives,spoons,ketchup, sauces,salt pepper, food was so amazing my guest loved it all ..thank you so much I'll be catering again from your place

literally drove 25 mins to come here cus i read the reviews.. get there the little young girl taking orders had an attitude was 2 secs away from pluckin off her eyelashes!.. but besides that im 30 yrs old and ive NEVERRRRRR N MY LIFE tasted a nastier chicken wrap i dnt understand how u get a chicken wrap wrong .. asked for grilled onions they were raw and u waited extra long to the point i had to say something wholeee wrap was HORRIBLEEEEEEEEEEE i would give 1 star but i cnt !!!!

Visited more than 5 years ago and realized I never left a review until now. I remember the food being good, but what stands out to me 5 years later was the nice service and hospitality that I received here. I don't go to Staten Island often, but if and when I drive through here again, I will be sure to stop by 494 Chicken.
