This bakery is a hidden gem of downtown state college. The products there are not only fantastic, but whatever you choose to get, it's affordable for anyone. You can get smaller bread and pastries for the day, or a larger one that you can slowly work on across the week. If you want fresh, well-made, quality bread, this is the place to go! I go twice a week, and always hope to arrive on a croissant or pretzel day.

Great fresh bread and good prices! I went to Gemelli’s yesterday for the first time and got two loaves of bread and a piece of the tomato focaccia. Everything has been very good and a big difference from mass produced supermarket bread. Go support this local business, it’s the only bakery we have in State College!

Amazing bread and pies! We ordered pies and bread for our Thanksgiving feast, and our family members were blown away by how good they tasted. “Best pies ever, mom!” And “this crust is obviously homemade” we’re just a few of the rave reviews we received. The cherry pie was absolutely delicious!! It reminded me of my Grandmothers homemade pie! And, being I’m from California and we have the best sourdough bread in San Francisco, I was hesitant to buy a loaf, but I did and so very glad I did!!! Wow is it wonderful!! The Best! Thank you for making our Christmas dinner and desert outstanding!! ♥️

This place knows how to make excellent bread! Not joking: even a week after purchase, the bread is tasting fresh. I only need to go there once a week to stock up: love the wheat bread, fennel and raisin bread, pretzels, ciabatta, etc. Fantastic! The employees are great about knowing which varieties of bread are vegan. So thrilled to have a bakery with vegan options!

This place is wonderful! I went in because I had heard about their delicious sourdough, and left with two loaves. The friendly lady running the place offered us a free small pie to sample before we left as well, simply out of the kindness of her heart. It was a 10 out of 10 experience, and I'd suggest this place to anyone!

One of the best bakeries I have been to outside of Europe. Their bread is wonderful. Also try their cookies. Always constant quality.
