Review Whiskers - State College

Loved our brief visit here. Only ordered one drink, but the service, atmosphere, and drink itself made this an amazing visit! Beautiful wood detail all around the room and ceiling. It's inside the Nittany Lion Inn, which is simply gorgeous. Full menu of food available, too... Worth checking out!

Very nice restaurant. Friendly and very helpful staff. Really interesting menu. I had the kale stew and the crab sandwich. The food was really delicious.

Loved the lobster bisque, it was so smooth and delicious. The potato wedge fries are probably a must get if you come here. They are crispy and delicious. And the sauce that comes with it is nothing but extraordinary. The staff is very friendly and has a warm atomsphere.

Definitely a great restaurant and great food. I visited with my girlfriend and the one item that really stood out for me is the lobster bisque. It's delicious with little chunks of lobster in it. Even while eating my main meal (which was a buffalo chicken wrap if I remember correctly) I thought about the bisque. Half way through my wrap, I asked for a to-go box and ordered another bisque. Service was also very nice and friendly. Highly recommend

Great atmosphere, great meeting place before a night of hockey. End the weekend with very nice Sunday brunch. Selections are many, with breakfast items as well as made to order omelet, carving stations, seafood, salads and much more.

Good variety on the menu and a good variety of beers and wines. The atmoshpere is very nice for casual socializing and lunches. Food tasted great, but the presentation left a lot to be desired. Using larger plates and upgrading to slightly larger tables would improve this rating.

A great restaurant that is close to campus. Perfect for students to take their family to when they visit. Even though the Nittany Lion inn is a very upscale hotel, Whiskers has a very casual atmosphere. Food has always been good every time I've eaten here. There's a big enough menu to order anything from burgers to pasta. A good choice to get away from the bar crowds downtown. Will definitely eat here again.

It is a casual burger and beer place. Food is good but a bit expensive for what it is, in my opinion. It is great for meeting with friends - no loud music, which is the problem with most pubs in town. Service is quick and attentive, and you can have free popcorn while you are waiting.
