While in town for a graduation we got the chance to try this location of the popular Original Waffle chain. Even though it was very busy and with a line out the door, we were still seated probably within 15 minutes. The food, service, and experience were all excellent. There's a reason this chain is so locally popular!

This was my first visit to the waffle house for breakfast. Even though it was off season at penn state college (due to christmas holiday break), the place was buzzing and we had to wait a bit to get seating. I ordered a platter of eggs, bacon and potatoes with a muffin. It was just perfect. Even with a large crowd, service was quick and efficient. The server refilling coffee seems to know exactly when the mug is empty. Highly Recommended.

Can’t wrong with this local favorite in State College. There is almost always a line outside, but it moves super quick. We were wrapped around the building and only waited 10 minutes to be sat. The food comes out fast for how busy they are. The bacon is by far the best here at the Waffle Shop over anywhere in the area. It’s super flavorful and thick-cut. The red-skin fried potatoes are seasoned to perfection, and of course how can you forget the amazing waffles. One of the top spots for breakfast.
