One of my favorite pizzeria in state college. Pros: reasonable price, wood oven pizza, great service (fast and kind). Warm atmosphere! Cons: ....? Menu: I usually get wood oven pizza, but electric oven pizza is still awesome! Ravioli is just okay.

We were looking for high quality pizza and decided to try this place. Their speciality is their 'wood fired pizzas' so we decided to go with it. The place was busy when we visited and people were enjoying the NFL championship game between Rams and 49ers. The place serves beer and wine which pairs nicely with their food menu. For starters, I tried their chicken soup which was delicious. For the main dish, we ordered a large pizza. The pizza was exactly what I expected. Very high quality. Recommended.

Quick summary: Food here is pretty bad. I’d only come for their pizza, which is mediocre. Wood-fired pizza (6.5): I head this was the best place at state for pizza, but I’ll have to pass on it. I didn’t like the lumps of tomato in the sauce. The one time I got it, they included tomato lumps and the other time it had none. There are better pizza places at state for sure though. Garlic bread (5/10): OK starter. Very limp, and undercooked. I would prefer it to be a bit more crispy on the bottom. I think it was just an overload on cheese and stuff. Basic bread Soup (2/10): Was pretty bad. It tasted like chicken soup with cheese added. Such a weird combination. Bolognese (4/10): Disappointing. Just not good. Overall, not coming back.

Pretty good. A fella can’t get wood fired pizza anywhere else in State College and their pasta dishes are highly customizable & never disappointing. They also have a bar and the kitchen staff is crazy…. CRAZY GOOD at what they do 👍 many possible variations to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. Great for date night, a penguins game, or anything in between. Faccia Luna is legit.
