Great place to stop in for a quick bite around lunch time. It’s a must try. We were seated quickly, super friendly service. Our meals were out on our table and we’re super hot. Food was really good.

The English Muffin was delicious and the waitress did pretty well for being new! Other than that though not too much good to say. The only thing that came out hot was the English muffin. The eggs and redskins were cold and both subpar for taste, but if they came out hot they might’ve tasted better.
We are… very happy that we visited The Waffle Shop during Family Weekend at PSU. We waited about 30 minutes to get in. The service and food were excellent. We ordered blueberry pancakes, eggs, bacon with the breakfast potatoes. The waffles are amazing and the orange juice is freshly squeezed! Ov
I liked the service and LOVED THE BUTTERMILK PANCAKES. These are the best pancakes I've ever had. I don't like that it's cash only but I understand that small businesses are trying to stay afloat.
Unfortunately my least favorite Waffle Shop location. Plus is that is that it is conveniently close to campus however wait staff aren’t as polite and food quality and quantity is seemingly less than the other locations. They also don’t take card, cash only.
The Waffle Shop is fine. Service was great and prices were not bad at all. The problem is with the food. I ordered pancakes with a side of sausage and my pancakes were heavy and lackluster. Great place for comfort food. The house potatoes are the best. Buttermilk Pancakes are the bomb, so flavorful. Service is great. Expect long lines but they will take care of you without long delays. Your requests are met with a smile, ease and sense of urgency. Love this cozy place in State College.
