Shhh...This is the best kept secret in CT. Sunday brunch is plentiful. Always some seasonal offerings to amaze. So DON'T GO, I like the place all to myself.

Love the rustic atmosphere!
I drove in from the Hartford Area to meet some friends at your restaurant for Brunch. Best Brunch that I have been to in a long time. The variety was great, the restaurant was great, and, the staff were very nice. Linda W., Newington, CT
They have done a good job at freshening up this place. Nice white tablecloths, updated bathrooms and a new menu. The beer garden is lovely, and the little gazebo is perfect for a group of 6 to 8 people. I’m not one for dining in, so this is great, even if it’s drizzling rain out. The food has also improved, however the only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that the scallops we had were dry and insipid in color. Maybe they were refrozen. If they were fresh and cooked properly that meal would have been perfect. I’m going to be going to the beer garden for brunch and dinner as long as the weather permits. Lovely spot.
Very casual family atmosphere. We were there for Father's Day Brunch and for was good. Buffet style. Long wait though, even with reservations. Enjoyable experience overall.
We went for the Sunday Brunch and came imagine not returning at least twice monthly. They're were many choices including a carving station, made to order omelettes, and the usuals french toast the bacon... The outside after is charging and the staff exceptional!
Stumbled upon this Tavern coming off the parkway. Amazing food and a great old building. Will come again next time we are in the area.
Was amazing! I highly recommend anyone who wants to enjoy really good food and hospitality! They also have a live band music , staff is incredible they all make you feel like home! Food is excellent and upstairs is a unique antique space with very beautiful style ornaments for gifts!

We arrived and the place was empty but the staff insisted we stay. The decor was worth the trip alone. I had the chicken pot pie. Wow. The best I've ever had. My friend had the Duck ala Orange and he was amazed at the whole thing. Kept raving how wonderful every aspect was,(he's a foodie and in the industry)
Most times you go to a place as they were about to close you get served a rush job of food and service, however these guys did a great job making us feel welcome. I've heard of this place word of mouth for years and finally tried it and it was more than I expected. I Will go back again.
