This is a very special place and a true labor of love. You cannot find better brisket on the East Coast. That alone is a reason to make the drive (even a very long drive), but you will also find an extraordinary assortment of charcuterie (all made in house), as well as local cheeses, pickles, olives, anchovies, etc. Solinsky's has a devoted following and while I do not live in the area, an annual pilgrimage is pretty much the apex of my culinary year. They have been a bit quiet re: marketing, but rest assured that if you arrive during business hours on Saturday or Sunday you will be greeted by incredibly warm, talented, thoughtful people and be treated to food that is prepared with great affection.
We rode 55 miles for the brisket, would have rode another 55! The brisket was amazing! And the ride there was great also!
Every time I'm in town I love stopping by here and getting some amazing meats. The cheddar brats and the kielbasa are hands down the best I've ever had. Very friendly and courteous owners.

The cheddar brat and brisket is amazing here! The service is excellent and the staff is friendly. Walk up to the window and order, then enjoy a quick walk down the street to the small shops, including “5’clock somewhere” for some whiskey or wine to go with dinner. Yum!
Super friendly and generous staff. We showed up late in the day looking to grab some brisket, but unfortunately they were all sold out. The staff was extremely kind and sent us home with a tasty snack free of charge since we were leaving early the next day and would not be able swing by to grab an order. The burnt end they gave us were very yummy!

Solinsky's is a true gem of the Catskills... Their brisket might be the best one I have ever had!!! Their cured meats are also amazing! From local cheese selections to their own pickles, it's a must have if you're are visiting or live in the area... Call in advance and order your brisket because they do sell out ☺️
An amazing craft cured meats shop. The owners there are incredibly friendly, passionate, and knowledgeable about the entirety of what they do. Well worth the visit twice over, but the meats aren’t cheap. You’ll be showered in samples as soon as they get a chance to, and they know their product is both fantastic and absolutely worth every penny.
I was bummed that there wasn't any brisket and baguette which is what I originally came in for
even despite that fact the service was absolutely amazing and they even gave us and order of burnt ends. Which were more delicious than I could possibly explain. Definitely try this place like without a doubt. If you are from the area I envy you because this place is such a gem.
