Wingstop

This place is probably the worst at takeout in the st Pete area. They consistently manage to provide a disappointing and often frustrating experience. Take my last visit for example. I showed up almost a half hr late because they rarely have the food ready on time. So I enter and as always, there's no one there to greet or even acknowledge my existence because they are all in the back cooking. They see me, ignore me, continue cooking. After about 2-3 min they ask me if its pick up. I say yes and provide name in order. She then gives a subtle weak nod and continues cooking without a word back. No estimated time. No let me check on that for you. Nothing. Then about 5 min later she takes a customer who walked in. Takes their order. Meanwhile I'm just standing there patiently waiting right in front of her besides the customer so I couldn't even give her the benefit of the doubt and presume maybe she had forgotten about me. Then she looked at me, turned around and was about to have the AUDACITY to the back again! I finally reminded her of my existence. She then found the order almost IMMEDIATELY waiting right on the to go shelves (it was just sitting there ready to go this ENTIRE time) and gave it to me as if she couldn't have done that ten min ago!!! Not even a courtesy apology. Quite to the contrary, the connotation I sensed in her demeanor and overall disposition was more tantamount to irritation and dismissal than any kind of empathy or apologetic tone. Horrible experience. And this is kind of the normal expectation for this place. Wish there was another one nearby. Maybe I'll check other options. I can't keep having dinner with a side of frustration.

WORST. STORE. EVER Food is OK, but If I can give 0 stars I will. Ordered from there a couple of times. Customer service is mediocre at best. This time I decided to order delivery so I don’t have to deal with frowning faces. Currently sitting and waiting for an order that was supposed to be here 40 minutes ago. Trying to call the store to cancel the order and nobody picks up the phone. Pretty much stuck waiting for food I have no idea when will arrive. This town has so many other much better wing places. Never again…

I don’t expect much from wingstop because I’ve never had a good experience at one, but this has been the worst by far. I got the driest chicken thighs, like literally it crunches like a pork rind… we said something to a worker and she claimed that it’s supposed to be that way. Sounds like pure laziness to me. Not to mention the burnt French fries. I waited for over 30min to receive burnt food. Way to fail.

Man I hate doing this over something so petty, but in retrospect of today’s economic situation, service and convenience is about all that can make or break ones desire to con’t doing business with a company or in this case a food chain. I ordered 15 wings, didn’t complain about the price nor the wait time, everything was fine until I ate the few I intended on and prepared the rest for my girl work lunch, only to find out I was shorted wings, I called and management REFUSED to rectify the situation, unless I drove ALL the way back up there, which we all know how we’re feeling it in our tanks (octane). So I’m forced to discontinue my relationship with them. Sucks but I guess their content with losing a customer, after asking several times to meet me in the middle 🤦🏽‍♂️
