The Brass Tap

We had the Boom Boom Shrimp and Cod Fish with Chips both which are Beer Battered. On both items there was way too much breading, this is one of those times when eating Seafood is not the healthiest choice. They do have a lot of beers on tap to suit almost anyone's taste. Overall I don't think it was a good value. I'm sure I won't eat there again but I probably would stop in for a beer sometime if I was at the mall and wanted something to drink.

Decent tap and bottle selection, but food wasn’t as impressive. Bar was almost completely dead but service was still on the slow side. Salad was off color and vegetables looked like they were left over scraps. Our tempura shrimp was way over breaded and burnt. I ate two pieces and left the rest alone. Bartender never checked in to see how the food was so at the end of the meal I mentioned it was over cooked. They just thew it out and didn’t offer to comp or remake it. Too bad because the location has potential to be a good Sunday football spot.

Me, my husband and daughter came here for the Lighting game. It was our first visit, and we loved it. The beer selection is awesome, the burgers were outstanding and the atmosphere was laid back and comfortable. I ordered a cocktail which wasn't to my liking and the waitress took it off the bill!! Great customer service!!! We all agreed we will come back.

The food is very high quality and the drinks are superb. It is a bit pricey, but well worth it. The servers and staff are also excellent and very friendly. I would say, overall, I was impressed by the quality of meat that was used in their burgers - indeed, it says it is Angus and it certainly is. Getting three Angus sliders with fries for around $10 was a pleasant surprise. I think the drinks must be where they obtain their profit: a local brew cost me around 7.50 per glass. The atmosphere is nice and this would be a great location to relax while your family shops. Check it out next time you do not feel like being dragged around the mall with loved ones.
