The service was excellent definitely 5 stars for that alone. I sat at the sushi bar and the sushi chef and waitress were very attentive to me and very friendly. I ate mostly sushi and the app I got was good but not spicy like I thought it would be. I got the "heart attack" app which was a stuffed jalapeno popper which I thought would be spicy but it wasn't and I had to add sriracha. They did have one of my favorites on the menu which was ikura (salmon roe) but no uni (sea urchin). The sashimi and ikura was very delicious and fresh and not old or fishy smelling at all. The only down side is that the portion size of the ikura and sashimi were small. Dont let the look of the ikura in the photo deceive you, it was two orders because normally its 2 pieces per order and each piece was the size of the first segment of the top of your thumb. Other sushi places its usually a little bigger and you get more roe that's why it's only 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

Stopped in because it was raining and I was hungry. It was in between their operating hours after lunch, before dinner, on a Friday. Ordered a Godzilla roll and Mori Special with a Sapporo. Absolutely fresh and delicious. Beer in ice cold glass, sushi well done and authentic. So good I added some hot saki and avocado roll with a volcano roll. Very pleased. Try this gem if you are in the Saint Pete area.

Hands down the best sushi Ive had in Florida to date and I moved in 09’. Excellent quality of fish, perfect fish-rice-filling ratio and lovely customer service. The price is very reasonable and you get a quality of food that is unexpected. The tuna and salmon is soo soft it feels like it melts in your mouth. Its a small spot so its easy to miss but Id highly suggest you check it out if you’re in the area. I will be coming back and will be going to bat for this place to be my family’s new usual sushi spot. ❤️

Mori is a hidden gem in St Pete. I get food at Mori just about once a week. All the food is so fresh, great quality, and flavor whether you get the hibachi or the sushi. Their prices are very fair, and even more so when you get their lunch specials. Not to mention the people who run it are so nice and pleasant. Highly recommend giving them a try!

I've been coming here since I moved to the area over 3 years ago. The owners are very kind and the food is fantastic! I've had just about every roll at this point and have never been disappointed. It's a wonderful, low-key, sushi spot.

Mori Sushi, is my absolute favorite, local, casual dining, sushi restaurant. I order from here, every week. Sometimes, multiple times a week. Their food is always so fresh, well made, and so flavorful. They have something for every taste, on their Japanese food menu. For example, they have an extensive sushi menu, as you might imagine. Elaborate sushi, topped with various sauces, and other toppings. Or if you're more into simple sushi, without too many ingredients, they of course offer that as well. Mori Sushi, also has a few different selections of vegetable sushi rolls. Wich are great as a pallet cleanser. Or are a nice option for anyone who may want to try sushi, but are unable to eat raw fish. Speaking of seafood free options. Mori Sushi have a great selection of Japanese rice, and noodle dishes, as well as a few non fish apatizer options. They really do have something for everyone. The customer service is impeccable! The owners are extremely nice, and really value their customers. They're so hard working, and really go above and beyond to make sure everyone who eats at, or orders from Mori Sushi, has a satisfying dining experience. They'll even go as far as to custom certain orders for me, when it comes to some food aversions I have. I can't recommend Mori Sushi enough. Anyone who loves good, simple, fresh, flavorful, local Japanese food, with wonderful customer service; should visit, Mori Sushi.

Mori Sushi is for raw fish lovers. Excellent Japanese food, friendly service, reasonable prices. Enjoyed fried Dumplings and Yellow Tail as appetizers, a Sushi-Sashimi Bento Box Special Lunch as main core which included Miso soup and salad, and a delicious Green Tea Ice Cream as dessert. Kampai!!!
