Yummy Thai

Been coming here for years and the food has always been fantastic. The owners (folks working the counter and cooking) are lovely people. I know they've been struggling with all the hyper-inflation, as is any other service industry business... Wish they would raise their prices to keep up with it because we'd hate to see them have to shutter the shop. I know any SUPPORTIVE regular will support a price increase to ensure great, local restaurant stays in business. Come on, Starbucks just said they're raising their prices! Be forewarned: Their hot is HOT! ;-)

$38 for 2 entrees (a total of $48 with tax, fees and tip) that were super small, tasteless and dry. Pad See Ewe was tasteless and dry with Null Vegetables. There were about 4 really good italian fork twirls of noodles. I had to add soy sauce (that was not in the bag mind you) for taste and for moisture. The Curry had barely any peanut creaminess at all and was yellowish, not brownish and was missing peanuts!?! It was a water bomb with no taste, 5 pieces of chicken and maybe 5 slivers of zucchini and two stars of carrot. I am here without a car, from Cali on a budget, flown in to work in healthcare because FL is a hotspot for covid. All I wanted after 12 hours of traveling was some feel good food..NOT THIS PLACE. I was disgusted and went to bed hungry. Beware if You know how THAI is really supposed to be. You can see how thin and watery the curry sauce is.. You can see the portion size (lady hand), dryness and lack of veggies.

Food was okay. If you ask for mild or no spice on their curries they wont be able to since they mass cook their curries in one large pot. They will claim all thai food is like this, and if this is not your first thai place, you will know thats not the case. Super rude on the phone and hung up on me. Go to ThaiWok on 4th instead. Better quality of food and honest customization of food that when you ask for no spicy or mild spice, that will be what you actually get. Also the staff are considerate. Only went here because i was already at publix. Will make the extra trip elsewhere next time.
