Baseline Bistro Cafe

I have been coming here for awhile. The food is amazing and service so friendly they make you feel like you are family. Lunch menu is limited, but dinners here are beyond competition. Best pizza in town, as other reviewers already said. They bring flour from Italy for an authentic pizza taste and consistency. The same flour is used to bake breads and rolls for the burgers - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Best burgers in town. Salads are always fresh. Excellent spirits and wine selection in the bar. My favorite dish is the sliders, served as an appetizer, but big enough for a meal. Weekend brunch is also spectacular. Amazing french toast, home made crepes, great quality coffee selection and of course the mimosas.

"Enter as Strangers, leave as Friends", this is the sign that hangs over the door at the Baseline Bistro. My husband and I discovered this hidden gem by word of mouth almost a year ago while remodeling our kitchen. Baseline is family owned and operated serving the BEST pizza and burgers in Saint Pete (I may be partial but I dare you to see for yourself!). Tucked back inside the Racquet Club, the bistro gives off the ambiance of quaint and hidden yet packed with pride serving homemade quality food. The dough is made daily with flour that is imported, baked to order and served fresh and piping hot! Seating is vast both indoors and outdoors and they serve a full bar with great house wines! No matter what you do, save room for the homemade Tiramisu or Italian wedding cookies and by all means get the cappuccino! Overall, we visit weekly....sometimes twice and we we love it here! Not only have we introduced many of our friends (who we now run into when we visit) but we have made many new ones too! Their concept of "Enter as Strangers, leave as Friends" has created a home away from home where friends can be family and share a great meal! Check them out - it is worth it!

Came in for brunch on Sunday. A pleasant surprise and hidden gem! Have lived in St. Pete for 6 years and had no idea that this place existed - and we eat out quite a bit. The service was great, the food was delicious (we had crepes) and our iced coffee was ok. Lots of outdoor seating so would like to dine outside when it cools off a bit. Wanted to rate it 4.5 but could only do 4 or 5. Will be back to try some more items from the menu!!

(FANTASTIC) This is a really chill place. Its very relaxing, yet entertaining to be able to watch a little tennis on the side if you sit outside. I've been here 3 times now. The food always comes out superb. Hot, fresh, and tasty.....The most important part of course. lol.....Service is always been great....We always sit outside with our dogs, and they are always accommodating....If you want great food, and want to mellow out? thumbs up. Perfect for a Saturday or Sunday Morning.....

This place Reminders me a lot of my best years in Italy. It took me years to find a place like this, these guys have the best pizza ever, they make everything in house, even homemade pasta! I had the quattro formaggi with spinach and my friend tried the classic cheeseburger that was incredible. The bun was made to order....incredible. Next i wanna try is that homemade pasta.🍝😋
