Evos Feel Great Food

I've been hearing about this place for months and been dying to try it. I was finally in St. Pete last week and stopped in. Parking can be a little tight--but there are places on the street and around the corner if you don't mind going around the block. The restaurant was super clean. My litmus test for cleanliness is to visit the restroom. It was spotless. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I visited around 1:30 in the afternoon and got the VIP treatment: I won't mention other reviews, but I had zero problems getting answers to questions about the menu, their app, the rewards program, or the history of the restaurant. There are a few tables outside, and I'd imagine the sunset between the palm trees is breathtaking (I didn't stay quite that long though!). On to the food: I had a steakburger and air fries. Seemed like a pretty standard fare by which to judge a restaurant. I'm accustomed to the run-of-the-mill bar burgers, so by comparison, this was the cleanest burger I've ever had, both in terms of it being healthy but also physically not messy at all. Not one drip of grease feel off the burger, but it was juicy, cooked ideally, and had loads of flavor. The fries were equally surprising--not once did I get that "eww, I need to wipe my hands" feeling. I think I used my napkin a total of two times. The portions are more filling than they seem. I was full the rest of the afternoon, but not to the point of feeling gross and falling asleep. As trite as it might sound, I really did feel good after eating this food. I'm glad I was able to stop by. They also have a location in Miami, Tampa, and Carrollwood!

Not for individuals with Celiac Disease! Marketing is very misleading. You would think that this health-conscious restaurant would be friendly for those with diseases or allergies to certain foods but it is NOT at ALL. Gluten free is not indicated anywhere on the menu, or any other dietary needs (vegan, dairy, soy, nuts, etc) which I expected from the marketing but all ingredients are not listed so you're in the dark and could end up ordering an item that staff believes is gluten free, but it's not. I'm glad I caught this before I took a bite and asked the staff in the kitchen about an ingredient that the cashier thought was fine. It was not. Nobody in the kitchen knew of any gluten free ingredients or dishes! Avoid this place if you have any food-associated diseases, food allergens, or dietary needs, as staff is not trained on ingredients and the menu excludes key ingredients in the brief descriptions, which is odd. It's not health-conscious, as the appearance and marketing would lead you to believe. I did try to eat the plain piece of baked fish and it was very fishy in an unpleasant unfresh way and was incredibly dry so I threw it out. Bad experience all around, as I left hungry.

I did work for Michael the owner, unfortunately never heard about this place but will definitely be coming back! Dog friendly and gluten-free friendly which are double pluses for my wife and super delicious fresh food! I got the double stack burger and she got a wrap within regular and sweet potato fries, definitely fresh and as advertised healthy and air fried deliciousness with different flavored catch up bar, and good indoor outdoor seating options. Even turf mats inside for a three legged dog who has a hard time walking on hardwood floors. 10 stars

Evos is very good. This flavor would be more for a person that is into health food. Wraps and salads are the most popular on the menu. The shakes are super delicious. I had the mango passion drink which was excellent. I also had the Thai wrap which I enjoyed with the fries. By the way fries are charged separate from the wrap. I think these should be a combo. There are different ketchup flavors which you can try. I enjoyed the mesquite and the garlic ketchup.

If you have food sensitivities or allergies, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. They will not share with you/do not know what is in their food. I wish I would have checked out reviews as I have seen this in another review. My mother had a major (could have been very serious) reaction to the Salmon Burger (she cannot have sodium due to life threatening blood pressure swings). When she called the next day to inquire about the ingredients so that she could inform her doctor in the event that she was unable to regulate, she was met with a rude and dismissive response. She was told that they do not give out their ingredients unless it's in the event of food allergies. But then continued to refuse to do so and told my mother, "Don't worry honey, there's no sodium in the burgers." Additionally, I ordered a gluten free bun for my burger, which was not gluten free. Luckily I do not have celiac and have less life threatening reactions to gluten.

I love evos, the food is fantastic and I love that they try and promote a sustainable business model. I've had some issues with their online ordering system. Sometimes they're a bit understaffed, though that seems to be improving. But the food is always on point, delicious, and I love having healthy fast food options.
