Panera Bread

Update: Haven't been getting orders right for awhile now. Food quantity and quality has diminished, and the value is lacking. I've gotten more than a few bad salads. Ugh! Can no longer recommend. This Panera has a great location, is generally clean, and the staff seems to be efficient in getting your order correct. The food is good and the menu is expansive. Recommended.

I love the unlimited coffee for $8.99 a month, with the first 3 months for free. You also get a free pastry when you join. So I get y coffee usually 4-5 days a week, and if I order a broccoli cheese soup, I get a pastry for 99 cents. So my coffee is paid for, I pay for my soup, and get dessert for 99 cents. You can’t beat that. The quality of their food is excellent. I go to 3 different locations.

I never leave reviews, but after last night, I felt I had to. I ordered two flat bread pizzas from this Panera through Uber Eats. Those pizzas were the worst things we’ve ever had. They weren’t hot, more like luke warm. Regardless of that though, they tasted like cardboard. The pizzas tasted worse then Totino’s grocery store frozen pizzas. They smelled awful, like vomit. I had a bite (as well as the rest of my family) and had to stop because it was THAT bad. This is the worse food I’ve ever ordered. We order food thru Uber Eats often and this is by far the worst food we’ve ever had. I am not exaggerating. Save your money. Do not order from here.

I have been going to Panera for my Salads for years especially at dinnertime. I pay a little more then I would like but with that said I was always able to get the sprouted grain bagel if they have had any left for my side bread. An Assistant Manager said I could not do that and that is an upcharge. I told her I was always able to get it with the salads. She told me that whoever did it for me in the past probably didn't care. I told her I don"t think that is the case at all. I think they did care.They cared for my business. I didn't think it was professional for how she talked about the staff. Hope it was worth losing me as a customer.

Since the pandemic started (which isn’t as much of a problem for us anymore at this time), this is now the third time I’ve tried to stop at Panera and couldn’t due to their lack of ability to stay open. Google says they close at 9pm. The Panera mobile app says they close at 9pm. When I showed up at 7pm, they told me they were closed. What restaurant closes at 7pm on a week day? Both McDonald’s and Chik Fil A next door are open. Plenty of people get off of work and choose to grab something to eat. I’m not convinced that Panera isn’t able to afford paying employees more to pull in more staff. My mom is home from the hospital and wanted Panera. I had to tell her I got off work too late and wasn’t able to get it for her. Until they change their hours to sync with pretty much any other business, they won’t have mine. I’ll be submitting an update to Google for their hours, but again, this is the third time at different locations where the store hours didn’t match what Google had, nor did the hours match anything to the restaurants around them. At the very least, update your own app and website with the proper hours. When someone is hungry and spends the time to show up, only to be turned down and unexpectedly told they’re closed, it’s frustrating.
